Bright golden light[]

Omen: A warm ray of golden sunlight shining in the Ancients' cave despite nightfall approaching.[13]
Interpreter: Stoneteller[13]
Meaning: Stoneteller originally thought that it meant the warm weather was arriving soon.[13] However, as she basked in its warm light, she realized some of her cats should travel to the place "where the sun rises, to make a new home in the brightest light of all" so the rest of her cats won't starve from the severe cold season.[14] Stoneteller announces her vision to her cats and appoints Shaded Moss to lead them.[15]

Thunder Rising[]

A star shining underground[]

Omen: "There's one particular dream I've had a few times. I was walking down a long, dark tunnel, and there was a glittering light at the end, as if a star was shining underground. [...] Oh no! It was exciting! I really wanted to get to the end of the tunnel and find out what the light was. And it was weird...I couldn't see any other cats, but I felt like there were cats there, trying to tell me something. Only I couldn't hear what they were saying. I thought if I could get to the star thing, I would understand, but every time I have the dream, I wake up before I reach the end of the tunnel."[16]

Interpreter: Pebble Heart[16]
Meaning: Pebble Heart's dream is of the Moonstone, which is located in a dark tunnel within Highstones. StarClan, known as the spirit cats, sends recurring dreams of the Moonstone to the future medicine cats to call them to their destiny.[17] The Moonstone won't be discovered until moons later when Moth Flight is called to find it.[18]
