Prowl Sleek is one of the three elders who communicate with ancestors and lead the wildcats. Strike Slash guides Ivypool and Icewing to meet with the elders. The Clan cats show them the StormClan symbol and tell them about Galestar's mission, though Prowl Sleek, Hunt Growl, and Spring Claw decided to deliberate on their story. However, Prowl Sleek and the other elders refuse to not believe them, as Galestar blamed the Clans for abandoning her. While Spring Claw is eager to drive them out, Prowl Sleek insists they will instead leave at dawn.

After foxes raid their camp, Prowl Sleek apologizes for accusing them of being thieves. The elder wildcat agrees to allow Ivypool and Icewing to witness them communicate with their ancestors. The following morning, Prowl Sleek and the elders lead the Clan cats to a grassy hilltop with bubbling stream—where all the elements combine. The ancestors speak through Prowl Sleek, Hunt Growl, and Spring Claw, who encourage the wildcats to allow Tumble Leap, Stalk Purr, and their newborn kits to join the group. Prowl Sleek and the elders show Icewing and Ivypool how to meet with the ancestors to reunite with Galestar.

Later, Prowl Sleek, Strike Slash, Claw Stretch, and Wish Stalk travel with Ivypool and Icewing to meet with Tumble Leap, Stalk Purr, and their kits. Prowl Sleek warmly welcomes them, and she asks the ancestors to bless the three kits. The ceremony is performed at night, and Prowl Sleek guides the others to clear their minds to open a pathway to the ancestors. When they arrive, Prowl Sleek asks them to choose a kit to nurture, and the kits are renamed Pounce Whisper, Stretch Blink, and Hunt Leap. The following morning, Prowl Sleek guides the wildcats back to their camp.
