- Quailkit is a ThunderClan kit. He alongside his mother Nettlesting and littermates, participates in StormClan's journey to find a new home outside of the forest. Near the start of their journey, Nettlesting catches a squirrel for her kits, though Quailkit complains that he is bored of squirrel and asks for rabbit instead. Stripestar hurries Quailkit and his family away from the fresh-kill it hurry them up. By leaf-bare, Quailpaw, Wasppaw, and Pigeonpaw are the first cats to be named apprentices in the Clan. While chasing his sister Wasppaw, Quailpaw nearly runs into his leaders and quickly apologizes. However, Stripestar insists that they continue playing.
