"But change is coming, whether we like it or not. I see a new threat building up like storm clouds on the horizon, and no cat knows how the Clans will react to it."

"You smell like RiverClan. Are you here to steal us too?"
— Ridgekit to Frostpaw in Star, chapter 9

Ridgeglow is a reddish[1]-auburn[3] she-cat with a white nose.[1]

History[]

In the A Starless Clan arc[]

River[]

Ridgekit is a SkyClan kit born to Blossomheart and Harrybrook alongside her brother Duskkit.

Star[]

After hearing a kit squeal, Nightheart leaves Duskfur and Mothwing to investigate before recognizing their scent as SkyClan kits. Sneezecloud expresses doubt about stealing kits to Fognose, and she says they will feel better once they get to RiverClan's nursery. Nightheart watches Ridgekit try to escape into the ferns as Sneezecloud momentarily lifts his guard before pinning her to the ground. Moving into an attack crouch, Nightheart leaps from the nettles to surprise Fognose and Sneezecloud; the shock causes Fognose to let go of Duskkit as Ridgekit already began to run free. Nightheart tells them to follow the lake to ThunderClan, and a patrol will meet them there. After realizing Fognose could easily track them down, Nightheart offers himself in their place as RiverClan's prisoner if they agree to leave the kits alone.
After Mothwing and Duskfur are brought to ThunderClan, Frostpaw notices Duskkit and Ridgekit chewing on a mouse behind them and asks who they are. After Ridgekit tells Frostpaw her name, she smells the RiverClan scent on Frostpaw and asks if she was there to steal her as well. Shortly after, when Squirrelstar begins to speak to Harestar, Ridgekit interrupts and asks when she can go home. Duskfur soon after explains that after Nightheart left to rescue them, Duskkit and Ridgekit found them and brought them to ThunderClan. Squirrelstar sends a patrol to Leafstar to inform her that Duskkit and Ridgekit are safe. Later, when trying to aggravate Fognose, Nightheart taunts her if she tried to steal them to avoid being cruelly named by Splashtail. When Sparkpelt finds Sunbeam in ShadowClan, she explains that RiverClan warriors were trying to steal SkyClan kits before Nightheart stopped them. Sunbeam later relays this to Nightheart as he asks her in anguish if they had escaped before she tells him how Mothwing and Duskfur found them.
Later, while in a vision, Frostpaw sees down into the SkyClan nursery where Blossomheart had been reunited with her kits, comforting them and promising never to let anyone take them ever again.
