Ripple Shine is a silver she-cat.[2]
In Riverstar's Home, Ripple Shine is born to Riverstar and Finch in RiverClan. She is the first to be born, and Dappled Pelt instructs Croak to keep her warm while the medicine cat assists Finch with the remaining kits. Soon all three kits are born, and Riverstar and Finch name them Ripple Shine, Dusk Smoke, and Arc Shadow. Four days later, Finch asks Willow Stream to watch her kits so she can help Dappled Pelt gather herbs for the upcoming battle.
