Moonrise
- In Moonrise, he appeared as one of the cats who left the Tribe in order to kill Sharptooth. After failing, however, he was banished, along with Bird That Rides the Wind (Bird) and Talon of Swooping Eagle (Talon). He later loses his tail due to Sharptooth's attempt to kill him.
Dawn
- Rock is a minor character, now a part of the Tribe of Rushing Water after Sharptooth is killed. He is not listed in the alleigances of Outcast, suggesting that he died sometime in between Dawn and Outcast or, like Jag, was killed by the intruders.
Trivia
- It is revealed that in Moonrise, Rock is known as Rock Where Snow Gathers, but his name is changed in Dawn to Rock Beneath Still Water.[1]
- Rock is mentioned as a black tom in Moonrise.[2]
