In the Power of Three Series

Long Shadows

Running Fox is one of Owl Feather's very small kits during the time before The Ancients' long journey to the mountains.

In the Omen of the Stars Series

Sign of the Moon

Running Fox is seen when Chasing Clouds is wounded, s/he and his/her sibilings Lapping Wave and Strong Pounce bounce up to him and sniff Chansing Clouds curiosly, but they shrink back to Owl Feather when they smells blood. Running Fox and his/her sibilings are drawn closer to their mother when The Ancients decide to go back, but it would be harder to go back with kits to look out for. Running Fox is seen with his/her sibilings pummeling their mothers belly trying to get milk to come, because they are thirsty. Owl Feather meows sadly to them that she had no more milk for them because she hadn't had enough to eat. When the Acients need bait to lure eagles near the cave, Owl Feather glares at Jay's Wing telling him that he woun't use her kits for bait.

Later on before a patrol returns to the cave, Running Fox, Lapping Wave and Strong Pounce are fighting over who'll be the eagle, and who'll attack the eagle. The three littermates wrestle on the ground.
