The Apprentice's Quest[]
- Shadepaw is a RiverClan apprentice mentored by Duskfur. At the Gathering, when the medicine cats share the prophecy they received from StarClan, Shadepaw shares that she found some pretty feathers in a shady glen that she used to decorate her den with, suggesting it might be part of the prophecy. Her mentor Duskfur sharply reprimands her.
Thunder and Shadow[]
- At a Gathering, Mistystar announces that RiverClan has two new warriors, Shadepelt and Foxnose. Bramblestar also mentions Sparkpelt's new name, and the Clans cheer for the three young cats.
Shattered Sky[]
- Petalfur, Heronwing, Shadepelt, and Foxnose are killed in a major clash between the Kin and RiverClan. Mosspelt staggers up to Mistystar after the battle and rasps that Shadepelt and Petalfur had been killed.
