Shadepelt is a dark brown she-cat.^[1]

Shadepelt was a warrior of RiverClan under Mistystar’s leadership in the lake territories. Her apprentice name was Shadepaw, and her mentor was Duskfur. She earned her warrior name of Shadepelt, but was killed soon after in the battle between RiverClan and Darktail’s Kin.

The Apprentice's Quest

The Apprentice's Quest does not formally appear in The Blazing Star , but is listed in the allegiances.

Thunder and Shadow does not formally appear in The Blazing Star , but is listed in the allegiances. At a Gathering, Mistystar announces that RiverClan has two new warriors, Shadepelt and Foxnose. Bramblestar also mentions Sparkpelt's new name, and the Clans cheer for the three young cats.

Shattered Sky

Petalfur, Heronwing, Shadepelt, and Foxnose are killed in a major clash between the Kin and RiverClan. Mosspelt staggers up to Mistystar after the battle and rasps that Shadepelt and Petalfur had been killed.
