:Dovewing, [[Foxleap]], [[Splash When Fish Leaps|Splash]], [[Swoop of Chestnut Hawk|Swoop]] and [[Teller of the Pointed Stones (OTS)|Crag]] are on a [[Border|border]] [[Patrol|patrol]]. Dovewing falls, and Crag catches her on their way. Crag says the could still look at [[Prey|prey]], but Foxleap whispers to Dovewing that only the skeleton of a squirrel would be in the tree. Dovewing could hear wings beating above her head, but of course no one could hear it. They see the eagle attacking the cats that had always been intruding the [[Tribe of Rushing Water|Tribe's]] [[The Mountains|territory]], but none of the Tribe cats want to help them. They decide they will though, with Foxleap's and Dovewing's persuasion. Swoop, Splash and Crag tell Dovewing and Foxleap to stay out of they way because they are not trained for it. Foxleap goes in and attacks the eagle, but when Crag tells him to let go, he discovers his claws are stuck. Swoop jumps up onto the eagle's other wing, kicking at Foxleap until he falls off, but when Swoop goes to jump off, the eagle turns and lodges it's talon's into her back. The eagle carries Swoop off. Dovewing listens for awhile, until Swoop's cries could be heard no longer, and quietly pronounces her dead.

Dovewing's PoV

Dovewing, Foxleap, Splash, Swoop and Crag are on a border patrol. Dovewing falls, and Crag catches her on their way.
