Silvermask is a tom with a gray stripe on his face and an ancient ShadowClan deputy.

In Code of the Clans, he participates in a fight against WindClan. He is furious with his Clan's medicine cat, Mossheart, when she stops the battle with the rival Clan, asking her if she wants them to lose. When she retorts angrily that three cats have been lost in the battle, he smugly points out that two of them are from WindClan.

Mossheart tells him that he is more mouse-brained than she thought. He leaves the tortoiseshell she-cat, snarling that ShadowClan could have won that battle. Mossheart decides to give Silvermask a chance to calm down before telling him that he needs his wounds to be treated. When the medicine cat dreams at the Moonstone with the other medicine cats, he appears in her dream, yowling a battle cry right next to her ear and beginning another battle.
