Chapter description[]
- Leafstar and her patrol arrive back at camp after their fight with the Twolegs. The leader noticed the newest SkyClan warriors weren't reveling in the Clan's newest victory. She moves on and watches her Clan on the Rockpile. She offers her vole to StarClan, and she finds Skywatcher waiting for her. Leafstar asks if the battle against the Twolegs was the right thing to do. The StarClan tom reminds her that she must trust her instincts as leader.
- The daylight-warriors arrive at camp and ask why they missed the attack on Twolegs. Leafstar apologizes, but the Clan begins bickering about the use of the kittypets in camp. Leafstar invites Billystorm, Ebonyclaw, and Frecklepaw on a hunting patrol with her. Echosong interuppts the patrol and asks her leader if separating the Clan is a good idea. Leafstar is frustrated over the problem and asks Echosong if she was meant to lead SkyClan. The medicine cat warns her leader to be careful of her own feelings.
