Snail is a huge, scarred ginger tom.[1]
In Riverstar's Home, Snail is a member of Slash's rogues. He and a tortoiseshell she-cat sleep outside their camp while guarding as Riverstar, Drizzle, and Arc stride pass them. When the rest of the rogues sleep, Riverstar prods the tortoiseshell awake, who calls for Snail to wake up. Snail and the other rogues confront Riverstar and the others for trespassing. The battle begins, and Snail attacks Riverstar. When Riverstar tries to save Owl, Snail, Beetle, Snake, and Ember attack him, with Snail delivering a killing blow. Riverstar soon wakes up after losing his second life, shocking Slash and the rest of his rogues who saw Snail kill him. The rogues begin to fear Riverstar, and Finch goads Snail into fleeing. The ginger tom snarls at her, and Riverstar threatens Snail into leaving.
