Battles of the Clans

Stonestream is part of the RiverClan patrol fishing off the half-bridge. When they are attacked by a ShadowClan ambush, he tries to protect Swallowtail from Blackstar, but Oakfur and Tawnypelt drive him away. Once the RiverClan patrol is defeated, Stonestream takes a step toward Oakfur, but stops when he snarls at him.

Rowanclaw insultingly tells Mistyfoot that defeating them had been too easy, provoking Stonestream. He leaps forward and challenges ShadowClan to fight out in the open, without sneaking around. Before the fight can resume, Mistyfoot stops him.

A little later, Stonestream sneers at Blackstar for suggesting that RiverClan give up some of their prey to ShadowClan because of ShadowClan's skill to sneak up on other cats in the shadows pouncing on them in surprise, instead of them showing themselves to their enemies before attacking, like the other Clans do.
