Sunnytail is a ginger-and-white she-cat with a bright orange tail.[1]
In Code of the Clans, Sunnytail is an ancient ShadowClan deputy under the leadership of Lilystar. She is the first to scold Driftkit and Fallowkit for using the last piece of fresh-kill as a toy. Sunnytail first asks them what they were doing, and when he replies, she tells them that the Clan would now have to go hungry due to the kits playing with, and ruining, the last piece of prey. Sunnytail continues to argue with the kits' mother, Splashnose, who leaps to her kits' defense. Sunnytail reminds Splashnose that until another hunting patrol returned, the clan would go hungry. Sunnytail protests that Splashnose must have known that it was the last piece of prey available at the time. When Lilystar comes over to them, she looks at her deputy and then to Driftkit.
