History

In The Broken Code arc

Darkness Within

"You'll have to cross the water. It might be dangerous, but there's no rush. Sunshine is heavy with kits. The Sisters won't move for at least a moon."

Sunshine is a queen of the Sisters. When Rootspring, Bristlefrost, Needleclaw, and Spotfur are looking for the Sisters, Leaf mentions that the she-cats are settling down as one of their members, Sunshine, is pregnant. The Clan cats are able to locate the Sisters with help from Leaf, and they ask the she-cats to come back to the lake territories and help them find Bramblestar's ghost. Snow says that they can't come, as Sunshine is expecting kits and they can't leave her behind, but Sunshine says that she can still travel, as the kits won't be born for a while yet. The Sisters travel back to the lake and perform a ceremony to summon Bramblestar's ghost, and although many of the ghosts of cats who died in the battle for ShadowClan appear, Bramblestar himself does not appear. The Sisters decide to make camp near Clan territories in case the Clans need more of their help.

The Place of No Stars

Snow mentions that the Sisters will move on once Sunshine and her kits are fit to travel.

Daisy's Kin

Sunshine nurses Smoky's kits until they are weaned and ready to live off of prey. Alderheart goes once every three days to check on Smoky and Sunshine's kits, and Daisy notes that although Sunshine and the Sisters look down on the Clans' ways, she really appreciates Alderheart checking on her kits.
