Thunderstar.FG-1 "The story is never the same twice, and parts grow uncertain, or they become suddenly clear in the telling."

This article contains information mainly from the 2007 field guide, Secrets of the Clans. While based on canonical information, the book has been repeatedly retconned as the series progressed, and thus its credibility is questioned.

"There are many wild boar loose in the forest."
— Swiftstar about Goldenstar's report of a wild boar in Secrets of the Clans, page 159

Swiftstar is a male leopard[1] and an ancient leader of LeopardClan.

In Secrets of the Clans, when Goldenstar reports a wild boar loose in the forest at a Gathering, Swiftstar dismisses it as irrelevant, as there are many boars in the forest. One of his warriors, Fleetfoot, claims she can kill the dangerous boar, Rage, and Swiftstar quickly adds that if she succeeds, LeopardClan could claim the river as their hunting grounds for one moon. When TigerClan returns after their one moon banishment from being seen in the daylight, Swiftstar is shocked to see how drastically their pelts have changed, now covered in jet-black stripes.

Shadestar: "Oh yes? Then why don't you do as you say and kill Rage?"
Goldenstar: "Show us that your deeds can match your words."
Fleetfoot: "With pleasure."
