Mistake in Sunset history??

I noticed that in the Sunset history it lists Berrkit as having gone back to the Horseplace BEFORE his tail was injured, but I'm pretty sure it's the other way around. I'm not quite 100% sure, but I think I remember Leafpool mentioning "Daisy had waited onlt until Berrykit was fit enough to travel to go back". I didn't want to change it without being sure though. Possible Deletion?

I know we need a page for all characters, but the fact that the titles seem to be all caps is inconsistent with site format, and frankly looks unprofessional. The fact that the whole page was created so an anonymous user could spam seems to have really set my opinions against this page. I'm not saying no page for Berrypaw, just not this page. Sunset

I think I see a mistake in the sunset section, be I have to be sure. I will re-read Sunset so I am 100% sure, but doesn't Berrynose lose his tail before he is taken back to the horse place and that was what made Daisy go?Minnowclaw 12:12, 27 June 2009 (UTC)Minnowclaw

Berrynose's mate

He becomes Poppyfrost's mate in TFA, but wouldn't he be breaking his promise to Honeyfern? He told that they would be together in StarClan--Nightfall101 06:58, October 31, 2009 (UTC)

I guess it's just another one of those "She would want me to be happy" situations. I added Honeyfern as a former mate, because although they never actually mated, they did talk about having kits and how they would have been beautiful. So they were pretty much classified as mates, just not yet mated.  Darkfeather  |  Talk?  06:40, November 28, 2009 (UTC)

Berrynose's Tail

Berrynose lost his tail a little after the badger attack, Daisy was going to leave after that but Cloudtail persuaded her to stay so she did. But when Berrynose's accident happened, that was enough for her, then she took her kits back to the barn.

I think an alternate kit for Berrynose because he lost his tail when he was a kit.

Berrynose's mates

Well alot of time has passed since we heard about the clans, like how Rosekit and Toadkit became warriors and are now Rosepetal and Toadstep. So it has been alot of time has passed since Honeyfern's death. So now he has a new mate, which is Poppyfrost, he is also very over-protective of her because he doesnt want what happened to Honeyfern to her.

It had to be atleast six moons, since Dovepaw and Ivypaw were just kits at the end of PO3, so really, I guess he would have gotton over it. Plus, Honeyfern approved of her former mate fathering her sister's kits, she told Poppyfrost herself. But all that matters is that they are all happy, and are they? I don't agree. How can he just fall in love with his true love's sister? It wasn't that long after she died. It's like, really random. Not for Poppyfrost maybe, because she told Jayfeather that she always loved him, but for Berrynose. He never showed any sign of liking her that much, not ever! I also don't understand how cats in StarClan could just let their mates fall in love with somebody else. I mean, I know Feathertail wanted Crowfeather to be happy, but what about her? Same thing with Silverstream. She and Graystripe were meant to be together. Millie was just thrown into the story because the erins promised a friend that they'd make a character based on his cat. Berrynose's mate

I still think his mate's should include Honeyfern, yes they didn't technically have kits, yet. but if she hadn't died they would've had kits- so she should be counted as a mate. 72.199.98.142 10:10, December 4, 2009 (UTC)

Style Concerns

• Needs Eye Color Citation for amber, it will be removed until someone finds it.
• Eclipse and Fading Echoes sections could be expanded.
• Broad shoulders have been removed until a citation can be found.
• Sign of the Moon needs to be added.
• Night Whispers and Sunrise could be expanded.

Eyes

I think it said his eyes were blue somewhere, or he was an exact duplicate of Daisy somewhere, I can't place a claw on it! D:Hollyleaf

Found it. It's actually in Outcast. It's in Hollypaw's view, when Brackenfur, her mentor, takes her out on patrol with Firestar, and they find Berrynose and Birchfall fighting with a ShadowClan patrol of Russetfur, Oakfur and Rowanclaw over the border. Firestar breaks it up and angrily asks what Birchfall and Berrynose were doing on ShadowClan territory, and Berrynose snaps that the ShadowClan scent markers were faint. Here's the quote:

"We didn't know it was ShadowClan territory! You should tell these warriors to renew their scent markers."

Actual thing:

"We didn't know it was ShadowClan territory," he defended himself. "You should tell these warriors to renew their scent markers."

The reference: Outcast, page 40. So it would be:

"We didn't know it was ShadowClan territory," he defended himself. "You should tell these warriors to renew their scent markers."

Undo but I had cites?

Sorry to bother, but I added powerful-shoulders (The Sight, 130), thick tail (Dark River, 14) and short tail (outcast, 18) to the description and cited it but it was undon? At the short tail ref it explicite sais "shurt stump" so I thought it is important too because there are cats who have a stumpy tail that is half long and not super short.
I also changed "torn ear-tip" to "shred ear-tip" because in the cite it says "shreded" and the word "torn" is not used.

The tail description is fine, and that's the main reason I did it. He has a stump for a tail. That means it's a literal stump; sorta like a tree stump. They're short and when people say "tree stump", they mean the bottom of the tree, aka the short part that's left over after a tree is cut down.

You can change some of it back, but you completely rephrased it, which there was nothing wrong with how it was phrased, and that's the main reason I undid it. Also, imo, powerful shoulders is totally unnecessary and it's not really physical, imo. It means he's got strength in his shoulders, it doesn't mean anything more than that. =/ —Jayce(17:35, 9/12/2016)

Oh okay thank you for explaining! I just had no idea how to fit in "thick tail" without changing the way it is prased D: Maybe it also is a language thing. When we say "stumpy tail" in my language it just means a part, no matter how much, is missing. So theoretically only the tip could be missing. Sorry I confused this! Yeah, nah, I see exactly what you mean with the phrasing. Good god, words are so confusing. I didn't realize how it would or wouldn't fit until I tried to read it again. x.x But in English, a stump is just that, a short stub.
