Personally, I don't think so. The books are unreleased, and since we don't add summaries, descriptions, or anything like that to articles, we shouldn't really add the names to this page either. —Jayce ( 01:34, 10/26/2014 ) ( 01:34, 10/26/2014 )
Um.... in the allegiances in 'Ravenpaw's Farewell', there was an apprentice in SkyClan named Parsleypaw, so I added the prefix Parsley. Can someone cite that please since I don't know how to?
Ok, never mind, I did it!
Basil- or Cold-?
I mean, they're both natural. Cold is a feeling that cats have, and is mentioned in the story. Basil is a natural plant.
I don't know about references, because I haven't read all of the books. Can anybody support this?
Separate the Ancients and the Modern Clans?
The ancients and the modern Clans have a slightly different system of naming, so they should probably be divided instead of put together. You won't ever see a Jackdaw'scry in a modern Clan, you'd see a Jackdawcry. Besides, is there any evidence that they go together? Purplee03 (talk) 04:53, June 5, 2017 (UTC)
When I first coined the idea for this page, I hadn't expected such an influx of Ancient Cat names. I'd be all for separating them, especially since there are a lot more now compared to three years ago. But yeah, Project:World is the place you'd be looking to post this question. —Jayce ( 06:07, 6/05/2017 ) ( 06:07, 6/05/2017 )
I completely agree with this, especially since the prefixes are very different. As Purplee mentioned, a few ancient cat names end with 's, which you would never see in a modern clan, but also many of the cats have prefixes that end in -ing, which is also very rare in the modern clans (besides "Running-") Omeletteninja (talk) 15:37, December 21, 2019 (UTC)
I was wondering if I can request for the prefix "Egg-" to be put back on the name list, from Egg (briefly Eggpaw) of Skyclan. It was removed pretty quickly after I added it because Egg rejected the name, but I feel that Leafstar considering it a valid prefix should make a difference.
Thanks for considering,
