StormClan's Folly[]
- "I have been expecting you, Galestar and Stripestar. I saw it in a vision. It seems the path of the Tribe is intertwined with the path of the Clans, like a woven vine. Now we cross once more."
- ―Stoneteller to Stripestar and Galestar StormClan's Folly, page 163
- Stripestar experiences visions about a dark, stormy sky, a white gull, jagged mountains, and an orange rock with legs. He wonders if his dreams are connected to Stoneteller's warning, though he keeps this a secret from Galestar. Stripestar continues to worry about Stoneteller's vision, and he briefly wonders if Huntheart and Fernwhisper's kits—Windkit, Lightningkit, and Rainkit—are the storm she warned about. When StormClan struggles to survive near the summit of the fox-head mountain, Stripestar recalls Stoneteller's warnings not to settle where the land falls away. When Goldenleaf receives a dream from Kestrelwing that they will find a new home at the place where the lake never ends, Galestar is reminded of Stoneteller's warning and is unsure about the idea. StormClan eventually settles at the sun-drown-place, though they struggle to find enough prey. After Thrushkit, Fogkit, and Pebblekit are born, Stripestar notices the signs from his visions becoming a reality. He starkly remembers Stoneteller's warning from many moons prior and realizes they are in grave danger. Stripestar attempts to convince his mate that they should leave the sun-drown-place immediately, but Galestar refuses when she learns he kept his visions from her.
