"There will be many troubles on our path—I do not doubt it. But nothing good comes without a struggle. We must fight for our future."

"Oh yes. One thing I can tell you clearly: You will leave a great legacy, Stripestar and Galestar. Your actions will echo through the ages. But this legacy will not be easily won. There is a darkness in your future, Clan cats. A storm is coming."
— Stoneteller's warning to Galestar and Stripestar in StormClan's Folly, page 168

StormClan's Folly[]

"I have been expecting you, Galestar and Stripestar. I saw it in a vision. It seems the path of the Tribe is intertwined with the path of the Clans, like a woven vine. Now we cross once more."
―Stoneteller to Stripestar and Galestar StormClan's Folly, page 163
At some point, Stoneteller received a message from the Tribe of Endless Hunting about visitors arriving to the mountains. Gust and Lightning recall her words and decide to bring Stripestar and Galestar to their cavern to speak with Stoneteller. Gust leads them to the Cave of Pointed Stones, where Teller of the Pointed Stones waits besides a moonlit pool. The small she-cat introduces herself as Stoneteller, explaining that she has been waiting for them. She reveals that they are aware of the Clans, as they share the same ancestors. This revelation comes as a shock to Stripestar and Galestar, who only thought those were stories. Stoneteller informs them of her vision: StormClan will face many dangers along the way and they already lost two cats. Stripestar and Galestar are furious that StarClan must have known about Kestrelwing's and Rosebush's deaths and did nothing about it. Stoneteller warns the two leaders to not end their journey at the lake without end and to heed the warning of the fish with legs. Galestar is confused by her message, and Stoneteller admits that the Tribe of Endless Hunting speaks in riddles. Stripestar interprets it as StormClan's survival. Stoneteller adds that they will leave behind a great legacy but a storm is arriving. StormClan is unsure about the Tribe of Endless Hunting's warnings. Galestar later worries about the darkness hinted in Stoneteller's prophecy, but Stripestar focuses on their legacy. Stoneteller perches on a high boulder in the back of the cavern when StormClan leaves the mountains. She bids Stripestar and Galestar farewell and reminds them about her warning.
Stripestar experiences visions about a dark, stormy sky, a white gull, jagged mountains, and an orange rock with legs. He wonders if his dreams are connected to Stoneteller's warning, though he keeps this a secret from Galestar. Stripestar continues to worry about Stoneteller's vision, and he briefly wonders if Huntheart and Fernwhisper's kitsWindkit, Lightningkit, and Rainkit—are the storm she warned about. When StormClan struggles to survive near the summit of the fox-head mountain, Stripestar recalls Stoneteller's warnings not to settle where the land falls away. When Goldenleaf receives a dream from Kestrelwing that they will find a new home at the place where the lake never ends, Galestar is reminded of Stoneteller's warning and is unsure about the idea. StormClan eventually settles at the sun-drown-place, though they struggle to find enough prey. After Thrushkit, Fogkit, and Pebblekit are born, Stripestar notices the signs from his visions becoming a reality. He starkly remembers Stoneteller's warning from many moons prior and realizes they are in grave danger. Stripestar attempts to convince his mate that they should leave the sun-drown-place immediately, but Galestar refuses when she learns he kept his visions from her.
