  • They ask him to follow them as he is taken to an alleyway guarded by a large dog.
    • The pair of rogues explain the dog had made its den there and won't let any cat near the food.
    • Brick asks Tiny if he will fight the dog for them.
    • As Tiny hesitates, Bone ponders if he had been lying the whole time and Brick states that if he had been, it would be best if he leaves Twolegplace for good.
  • That night, Tiny decides to fight the dog for them, despite how scared he is.
    • His decision is made after noticing the struggle of the cats around Twolegplace and his mother's words about the 'savage' forest cats.
  • As Tiny approaches the alley with the dog, a group of cats gathers to watch the spectacle.
    • The dog snarls at him as he encroaches on it, but he notices it isn't staring at him.
    • It dawns on Tiny that the dog is afraid of his shadow.
  • Scared, the dog takes off and Tiny snags some of its fur in his claws as a different trophy.
  • The gathered cats watch the dog leave as they turn their attention back to Tiny, awestruck by what they had just witnessed.
    • A multitude of them approach him, offering praise and thanks.
  • A single cat asks Tiny his name and it dawns on him he hadn't been asked that since arriving in Twolegplace.
    • His thoughts drift back to what his mother had said about the forest cats.
  • With that in mind, he announces his name as Scourge.

    • Ruby asks if their blood relation means anything to him.
  • Scourge tells them blood means everything and introduces the Twolegplace cats as BloodClan.
    • However, he lets them eat as his words are lost to them.
    • After they finish, he has Bone escort them off of the territory and forbids them from returning.
