Thistlepaw is a cat.[1]
In Code of the Clans, Thistlepaw is an ancient WindClan apprentice with Sheeptail as a mentor. When Acorntail initially has trouble organizing patrols, he assigns Cloversplash, Sheeptail, and Gorseclaw to a hunting patrol. Cloversplash tells him they should train with their apprentices since they just went on a hunting patrol earlier that morning. Acorntail then suggests that they take the evening patrol. Thistlepaw sarcastically tells him that they would love to go chasing rabbits after they had been fighting the entire afternoon.
