"And he never stops reminding us!"
Shanty about Tyr's constant reminders of his Burmese heritage in Pinestar's Choice, chapter 6

Tyr is a fawn[2] Burmese[1] tom[1] with dark brown ears and paws.[2]

History

In the Novellas

Pinestar's Choice

After introducing Pinestar to his friend, Shanty, she turns to Jake, asking if he'd heard that Tyr had been locked outside all night, having to sleep in his Twoleg's shed. Jake snorts that Tyr wouldn't have liked that, and explains to Pinestar that Tyr is a pedigree Burmese. Shanty snorts that he never stops reminding them about it, either.
When Pinestar is looking for Jake, a voice tells him that Jake is with Quince. Pinestar looks up and sees him sitting on a tree on the other side of the wall. Tyr asks him if he's the wild cat, and when Pinestar says he is, stretches his legs out one at a time. He then says he'll see Pinestar around, before leaping out of the tree and vanishing behind the wall.
