How do you cite articles? Also, when I know how to cite, if you are citing something for example in the middle of citations 432 and 433, how do you get the citations to go in order so that the citations won't say for example 432, then 553, then 433?Qibli77 (talk) 16:34, March 10, 2018 (UTC)
To learn how to cite, I suggest you look at this, as it explains each cite better than I could.
As for the redirect thing, you can look here. However, what you're suggesting should probably go on PC's talk page as a discussion.
Sorry for replying so late, but PC's talk page is right here. Also, you can hover over community, then go down to projects, and then click on "Project Characters." Go to the arrow besides "edit", and on the drop-down you'll see "Talk." ♥Star♥ bisexually me, mon amour<22:07, 3/17/2018>
How do you make searches redirect to pages without renaming the page? For example, I think there should be a way to search "Wind Runner's Camp" and be able to get to WindClan, because WindClan used to be called Wind Runner's Camp (likewise for Thunder's Camp --> ThunderClan, Tall Shadow's Camp --> ShadowClan, Clear Sky's Camp --> SkyClan, River Ripple's Camp --> RiverClan). hey, qibli! i saw your message on lightning's talk page. he's an admin and yeah, you can write those subpages. when you complete them, be sure to drop them on the talk page of project books so we can nominate them and all. -- Neon Skylite CH-CH-CH-CHERRY BOMB! 03:25, 3/18/2018
oh, i mean when you’re done, you should make a topic on project books for a silver nomination. silver status is basically our seal of quality which means its complete and very cool and good. people will critique it to make it better, and then a lead will cbv (comments before vote) it, asking for any last comments before they make a vote.
if everyone forever holds their peace, 3 days-ish later a lead will make a vote asking “should we give this silver status?” and members of PB will vote.
usually if an article gets this far it’s mostly a guranteed nomination but anyways and after 5 days if there’s mostly yay votes, it’s nominated. you gave an article a seal of quality. go you. —- Neon Skylite CH-CH-CH-CHERRY BOMB! 11:42, 3/18/2018
Re: Moor Runners Page on Jayce's talk page
Hm, go talk it over with Project:World first. I'm not sure why we have one page and not the other, but I think someone in the project might be able to answer your question. —Jayce ( 02:31, 3/28/2018 ) ( 02:31, 3/28/2018 )
A cat's affiliation is left like that if we don't have viable proof of where they go after they die. If there's nothing that says StarClan, the Dark Forest, or nowhere, then we can't change it. No proof, no change. Seems to be a common misconception that death = StarClan, when it doesn't. —Jayce ( 11:46, 3/29/2018 ) ( 11:46, 3/29/2018 )
Re: Nibby the Bird's talk page
My favorite characters are probably Hollyleaf, Jayfeather, Whtiestorm, Sandstorm, Graystripe, Bluestar, Yellowfang, Cinderpelt, Brackenfur, Leafpool, Stormfur, and Ivypool (you haven't met her yet (you haven't had the chance))
aw man whtiestorm is a new one. fun fact: In wOF, i think in book ten (but i'm not sure) a building has a "stricture." and yes, stricture is a word, but the word was used like "structure." and bc of how close the i and u are on the keyboard, it figures it would be a typo.
It's in our character art project guidelines^^ I believe this was due to Kate saying something along the lines of tabbies always being brown unless otherwise specified. You'd have to hunt for the source of that yourself, though, since I can't seem to find it rn. It's what I'd always been told, though^^ —spooky is that... a furry cat?!? 21:38, 5/10/2018
We lost the cite that confirms that Owl Eyes and Owlstar from Secrets of the Clans are the same cat. We cannot re-merge the pages unless we have concrete evidence. A similar name does not mean they are the same. Unless we get proof that says Owl Eyes becomes Owlstar (which we do not have anymore), the pages will stay as-is. (sorry, didn't see your message until now) —Jayce ( 06:10, 6/09/2018 )
Re: Medicine cat
A Warrior's Spirit
I’m going to change it just to keep it consistent with the page's name and the other novellas punctuation. - Dawn 22:33, September 14, 2019 (UTC)
