I quit the wiki

Welcome to the wiki! I'd be glad to help you out. :3 I'm kinda not the greatest at explaining things, so if you don't understand something I'm saying, go ahead and ask and I'll try to explain differently.

Well I'm not totally sure what you're asking about signatures, whether it be how they work, how to make them, ect. but basically you just sign the end of your post with four ~'s and it'll bring up your signature. If you want a custom one, you go to your user preferences page and enter {{SUBST:Nosubst|User:Bramblewind/Sig}} Or instead of User:Bramblewind/Sig, just do whatever the page your sig is on is named. Most users just go with that page name. On that page you'll enter in the coding for whatever you want your signature to look like. I won't get into how to code them now as I'm not so good with sigs, but if you need help making one, I can surely get someone to help you out with them. But once you finish that, if you've done everything right it'll display your sig how it looks on the sig page you made.

As for the chararts, again I'm not totally sure what you're asking about with it, but I'll do my best to explain. Charart community is called PCA, or Project:Charart usually. It's dedicated to making images for all characters with descriptions. Usually there isn't all that much to do, as all the cats with descriptions have their images made, but lately there's an influx of images needed, so if you'd like to help out I can surely find you and image to do if you want. You don't have to join the project to offer up an image, but if you intend to contribute a lot to it, it'd probably be a good idea to do so. You can see the guidelines of the project here, and for help with making images, we have a tutorial free for use to anybody, and a mentor program for those who are members of the project. If you'd like to look for an image to do, there's a good list here, however make sure nobody already has the image you're doing reserved.

Hmm colorful boxes.... I'm going to assume you mean userboxes? Like the ones that say "This user likes soandso character" or "This user own this book?" If so, you don't need to make them, they're already made for use of any user to use. There's a good list of them here, though that project's not currently in use. Most every page for the different userboxes should have instructions on how to use them, as it's slightly different for each one. But for the most part you'll simply be typing {{the name of the userbox here|some extra info here, depending on the type of box}}. There's also a link on the bottom of that page on how to get them to look organized and lined up like they are on most people's pages, so if you're like you can check that out too.

Also on a side note, if you need any help with editing, there's a really great tutorial here for editing character pages. There are some very slightly out of date things, as the page was made long ago, but for the most part it's still very useful if you need help editing the pages. I believe there are other pages on editing if you need them, however I don't have the links on hand. If you need more help I'd be glad to find them.

So I hope that helps! ^_^ If you need anything else, feel free to ask, I'd love to help. And once again welcome to the wiki. :3 Paleh Send help 01:05, February 11, 2013 (UTC)

Thanks so much! That was really helpful ;3 Bramblewind (talk) 23:58, February 11, 2013 (UTC) </font>

You're very welcome. ^_^ Well Wolfheart's image is actually already reserved. As I said, you have to check for that before choosing to do an image. You can look here and search the list carefully or hit ctrl + f and make sure nobody has the image you want. Once you've found an image you want to do, you can add your name to the table in the section with the B usernames (as the table's alphabetical) using the instructions given on the project guidelines I linked earlier, and then add the character's name you want to do (instructions on what the abbreviations are are listed above the reservation table), followed by the abbreviation of the rank you're doing. The add the current date in the fourth section (as I said, it should have instructions on the guidelines page). Make sure you don't forget the date though, as your image will be declined if you post the image without a date on the reservation. So long as you remember that, and nobody else has the image reserved, it's all yours. You'll have a week from that point on the get the image uploaded and put onto the approval page (see guidelines for instructions I believe). If it's not uploaded and posted within that week, anyone else could reserve it. Hope that makes sense and helps. :3 Paleh Send help 07:05, February 13, 2013 (UTC) </font>

Mentor </font>

Photoshop is a lot like GIMP but with more features and it costs quite a bit of money, basically. But the basics on how to make chararts are the same in anything. And I really don't care what you call me. xD -Rustle it takes a leap of faith 00:45, March 7, 2013 (UTC) </font>

Okay, I'll call you Breeze. :) Shall we start? >:) Bramble (talk) 03:33, March 8, 2013 (UTC) </font>

Sure. Although it's easier if you leave your messages on my talk page so I'll get a notification. xD What are you interested in learning first? -Rustle it takes a leap of faith 03:49, March 8, 2013 (UTC) </font>

It looks good, but in the future, just upload images over [ Iaza]] for critique. xD How about you show me a solid cat, shading and everything, with a color of your choice? -Rustle it takes a leap of faith 18:29, March 9, 2013 (UTC) </font>

Gah, I'm so sorry. I completely forgot to reply to your message. D: Anyway, yeah. I'd love to help. I don't know right off the bat what they used, but I'll figure it out and message you tomorrow about it. </font>

Also, the kit looks really good. The light source is slightly off, but other than that, great job! -Rustle it takes a leap of faith 04:22, March 13, 2013 (UTC) </font>

I finally got some time but it looks like you've already got it on the image, it just needs to be more pronounced. x3 Good job, by the way. -Rustle it takes a leap of faith 03:43, March 18, 2013 (UTC) </font>

Duplicating the layer would probably do it, just mess around with the opacity of the dupe layer to make it match. And I'd love to see a white cat, since those have tricky shading. -Rustle it takes a leap of faith 03:56, March 19, 2013 (UTC) </font>

It's very grey where it is shaded. The trick with white cats is to tint their shading. Try using a blue or a purple and lower the opacity. -Rustle it takes a leap of faith 03:36, March 30, 2013 (UTC)

Hi, Breezey. This is Bramblewind, your old apprentice. As you've already seen in Cloudskye's announcement, I've been banned for being a "COPPA violator". That's why I'm telling you this on my own talk. Before I left, I wanted to apologize for not being active enough, and to thank you for the valuable information you have taught me. You're an amazing charartist, and you're very friendly and nice in general. I hope you can be my mentor when i come back in november, neither underage nor quick to speak- or type, i should say :] I really wish I could have you as my mentor longer and get to know you more :3

Just go into source mode on my user page and copy the code. Change the colour, writing, etc. I can't be bothered to explain x3. Just remember to remove my signature afterwards, and change it to yours if you want you sig in it! :)☮♞✞SorrelΩflower☠☯⛄I need Coffee! </font>

Your Willowpelt Userbox</font>

Hey! I was looking at your userpage and noticed your userboxes, and saw your "This person thinks Willowpelt is a whore" thing... I need you to understand that we don't tolerate that kind of language on this Wikia, as well as the Ravenpaw userbox. Could you please change that? </font>

Thanks! --Echo Harkness "I was just saying hello!" 22:53, April 17, 2013 (UTC) </font>

Hah, it's fine! I just didn't want you to get in trouble =) Also, I should mention that you can't have an external link in your signature, but it's a creative sig, no doubt~ ^^ --Echo Harkness "I was just saying hello!" 23:24, April 17, 2013 (UTC)

Hi, Bramblewind! Unfortunately, according to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Wikia's Terms of Use, you cannot contribute as a user until you reach the age of thirteen. Sorry! Atelda insert vague subtext here 20:59, April 23, 2013 (UTC)

Nah, it's okay. You're just following the law as well as the terms&conditions, which I obviously didn't follow. I shoved myself into this. I needed to stop being here anyway, as these past few days have proved to me that I'm not responsible enough for what I say on an international website. I was, in fact, writing a surrender notice on my user page when I got blocked, anyways. :)) This site (what I am about to say has no blame on this site OR anyone here, this is just one of my flaws :3) has proven to be a distraction from school and almost an addiction to me, and weaning my self off was a good thing. I hope to see you soon, once I am thirteen and responsible enough to hold my tounge.

--Bramble (talk) 00:17, April 24, 2013 (UTC)

I'm sorry, Bramblewind, I feel that you getting banned is my fault. {{SUBST:User:DarkstreamMountainClan/Sig}} 20:05, May 11, 2013 (UTC)

Well, I just feel that it would be my fault because, well, I didn't report you, but I was the one who told you about CreamTheKittypet with the Smudge blank, and you said on her talkpage that you were 12, and yeah. I feel that it is my fault that you had said you are 12, but I look forward to when your ban expires. {{SUBST:User:DarkstreamMountainClan/Sig}} 00:51, May 14, 2013 (UTC)

Awww... That's too bad you don't want to flood PCA, but okay. Again, Welcome Back! ☽➸ Hawky Void Shadowshot 20:45, October 17, 2013 (UTC)

Ok but yo if you need to text me then you should text me... lol User:Kelpsey/Sig 05:37 Fri Oct 18

There are many ways that you can help PW the three major ways are: 1) participating in discussion by vocalizing your opinion, 2) expanding articles (we have many articles such as The mountains, and Cat that are just sitting waiting for someone to expand them), and last but certainly not least, 3) adding citations to articles (Due to the fact that PW articles are dealing with some things that may not come directly from the books such as creature articles, almost everything needs to be cited). Another thing you can do is when you feel an article is worthy of becoming silver-grade, nominating it for that, provided that it's not already silver, on PW's talk page where other users will critique it. Hope I helped and if you have any further questions feel free to ask! c: -Ducksauce 03:22, October 22, 2013 (UTC)

It's located here, but keep in mind that once you change it, you cannot change it again, nor change it back. Jayce  ( 19:05, 10/26/2013 )

You mean Geopaw? lol. Also, please do not use the word "retarded" on my talk page. I do not like it. Jayce  ( 22:19, 7/14/2014 )

I honestly have no clue what you're talking about, Quin. Perhaps ask Atelda? She's been an admin much longer than I have and she might know what you're asking. Jayce  ( 07:22, 4/2/2015 )
