This policy in a Nutshell
Guidelines and standards for blogs.

Blogs can be used on the Warriors Wiki to share series news, announcements made by staff, bring up critiques about the wiki, promote series discussions or community initiatives. However, there are rules that all users must abide to.

General rules

Violating these rules will result in the blog being deleted by an administrator and the user will be warned:

  1. No fanon or OC content posts: This wiki is NOT a place to share Warriors fanfiction or original characters. Beyond a short description on your userpage, any blogs that contain fanon content will be deleted. There are numerous Warriors OC wikis out there that will gladly host your fanon content.
  2. No irrelevant or insubstantial posts: Blogs on the Warriors Wiki are intended to be about the series in general, whether that be essays critiquing certain aspects of the series or sharing theories for the upcoming book. Any posts that are not about Warriors or the wiki in general will be deleted. In addition, blog posts are intended to be more than a few sentences and should not be used for general chit-chat or spam.
  3. Avoid making blog posts to create drama: Any blog posts whose purpose is to perpetuate drama will be deleted. However, if users wish to contribute to major Warriors discussion, they are free to do so in an essay format with sufficient reasoning and sources. A well-thought out opinion piece is welcomed over a few short and crude sentences.
  4. Proper grammar and sentence structure: Blog posts must be written in the proper English grammar (US/UK as long as it's consistent). Please avoid using all caps, excessive emoticons, or short and choppy sentence structures.
  5. Do not reupload images for your post: Blog posts are intended as major prose. Please avoid uploading several images that you do not own to the wiki to put on your blog post. These images will be deleted. However, you are more than welcomed to include images that are already upload to the wiki in your post, such as book covers. Your post must contain mostly words and not images, however.
  6. Cite your sources: If you are posting about major Warriors news, please include a link where you found that information. Whether that be the Warrior Cats website or other online sources.
  7. Follow the wiki rules: The wiki rules and blocking policy apply for blog posts as well. This also includes our civility policy and spoiler policy. When discussion spoilers about a new release, please make sure to include spoiler warnings, and avoid spoilers in the title if possible.
