I'm not sure if I'm supposed to do this or not; but I think this should be said. This isn't a competion, Icestorm and Nightshine are not competing against eachother. When you comment on either one, it shouldn't be - "Icestorm would be better than Nightshine," or, "Nightshine would be better than Icestorm." This is correct. This was definitely never meant to be a competition. Icestorm, even though you didn't receive the position this time around, keep in mind that you could always be nominated again. You were very close to having a successful nomination, and if there is a second time, you have a good chance. I believe Mossy should be a senior warrior because she is able to deliver good, constructive criticism on how to fix charart, will gladly help out if asked or will ask to help, and gives great charart. Mintstarr, tweaked images count as your own if and only if you re-did them. That's why I had so many. Like, say is something is shorthair, and needed to be re-done as long hair. 1. Honestly, I still forget that Shelly isn't a senior warrior sometimes. She has the air of a very responsible person, and she's always there for the project. She is always concerned for the welfare of the project, and not herself, and she makes beautiful charart. Since it's now January, and I specifically remember us agreeing to re-open senior warrior nominations on New Years, and since we've lost a couple of senior warriors and a couple are inactive at the moment as well... it's a long time coming. Atelda should have been a senior warrior long ago. She has many, many chararts, all of which I can find no fault with (which is saying something considering how picky I can be). She gives excellent critiques. She is fair-minded and modest. She thinks he does nothing in the project, but each day I see her here helping out. She's a quiet, solid member of this project, an anvil sitting in a turbulent sea and refusing to get caught up in petty arguments. It is to Atelda that I personally go for opinions when I want to propose something for the project, because I trust her judgement very, very much. This was clearly just a simple misunderstanding. Seeing respected members of a project fight over something as insignificant as one misreading what another said is not a good thing. I think you both owe each other an apology, so show that you're above letting petty bickering govern the project instead of good sense. As for the whole "Lead Meetings" deciding everything, I do agree that a select minority shouldn't be governing your project. The upper echelon should be serving the majority, not themselves. Look. We are a project, a community. We have a goal, and PCA can accomplish this goal without having "ranks." We shouldn't be arguing over "how many in this rank, what rank, that one doesn't deserve that rank," and so on. Breezewhisker is right, this project may have accomplished a lot, but we have lack of communication, a weak community. I suggest we start working on forming a good community, it's important. Mountainheart - Over, Vote Passed

1. What is there to say about Mountainheart but... dang! I, however, being who I am, will waffle on for a bit.

Mountainheart is one of the most remarkable members of this project. The love and care she puts into her chararts shows every time she posts an image to this website, not just when she's posting to PCA. That's not to say she doesn't post to PCA frequently: in the mere four months she's been with us, she's gotten 37 images approved from scratch and one approved from tweaking. I mean, just look at it all! Look at the care and attention to detail she makes!

But that's not the only thing spurring this person to elect Mounty for senior warrior. No, Mountainheart is everywhere in the project, offering helpful critiques and participating in important discussions.

This is the person that made our new, amazing loner blanks. And I believe that this person truly deserves to be a senior warrior.

1. Whether my vote counts or not being one day late (two days according to the UTC) but hear me out. I feel as though Rowan needs a bit more experience on tweaking chararts and I would love to see her branch out of solids. Knowing your strengths are good, but I feel as though you should attempt chararts perhaps out of your comfort zone. As part of the leadership of PCA, newer users can and will be looking up to you, Rowan, for advise on many different subjects. If you don't have much experience in one sort of charart, you'll have to pass that user's question off to another senior warrior/deputy/leader. I would also like to see Rowan stick to her opinion in discussions. Now, don't get me wrong, there are points that you might not have thought of but most of the time (correct me if I'm wrong), Rowan can switch opinions when another opinion is brought up. As a senior warrior, other users look up to you and your opinion and having a shifty opinion makes discussions longer, especially when you're a leader in the project and your opinion is taken into (sometimes) deep consideration (not that you have to be a senior warrior though). I would also like to see Rowan commenting more precisely. By that I mean, senior warriors (the deputy and leader as well) are responsible to encourage and advise the newer users whereas I (personally, may not be the same for another person) think that many of Rowan's comments are a bit blunt. I get when it's obvious, but perhaps sometimes provide reasoning, or an explanation, or even a suggestion, especially when it's a newer member. Rowan, you are an amazing user, and I love watching you grow. She told me in Skype that she felt like she didn't deserve being added back as a SW a fourth time, which drove me to ask the question why. I feel like she deserves being a committed SW to PCA 100%. Her computer's fixed, so she'll be sticking around for awhile. I don't see any reason for her not to get this, if her votes have passed before. She doubted she'd ever be a SW again... but why? She's just downright amazing at art and commenting. I think she'd be a fabulous addition to the SW staff.. again. If I'm one, then she should be one too. 1. So, where should I start? Her skills have improved drastically since she first joined PCA. She's not only stellar with solids...have you guys seen some of her tabbies? They are phenomenal, and her work has some of the most unique styling that I've ever seen. She's active, kind to new users in the project (something we could use more of), and she's always poking around with her ideas, nominations, and all that fun stuff. She's even active on the tweak nominations page, which is a rare occasion for someone who's not a lead. I think you guys are focusing way to much on actual art skills rather than all the other skills a senior warrior needs lately to be honest. Pikachushinx - Nomination Ends October 20^th

1. Where could I even begin? With the userbase and activity actually growing with PCA, Berry's resignation, and other things, I believe we could use another senior warrior- and Shinx has stood out from the moment she returned to the project. She was in the old PCA, long before the shutdown (like '12 PCA), so she's been in the project for more than long enough. Her images have only gotten loads better upon her return, she's active, and when I look at the approval page, her signature is one of the ones I see most often. Her chararts are pretty damn amazing, and she was one of the few who helped with the new blanks. Plus, she's also active with the mentor program, when most of the current members just ignore it. I would really love to see someone like her in our lead spots, and I think she's a prime choice. Her personal image history shows loads of improvement, and her comments are some of the most helpful I've seen yet. I could go on and on, and people who say "she needs more time" or "she lacks skills" obviously haven't been paying much attention at all. 6. Shinx deserves to be a senior warrior. When I first met her, I knew nothing about charart. Now, with her help and guidance, I have better chararts. Her chararts are great, she's kind, and is involved in the mentor program. These are the things we definitely for a great senior warrior.
