Lately, I'm finding that this project is straying more and more from its original intentions. PA's original intent and moving forward
Hi, me again.
So, as per a few of my comments... I've come to suggest temporarily shutting down PA for the time being, putting a freeze on all new and current awards. Lately, I'm finding that this project is straying more and more from its original intentions. These awards were never meant to really be given out as quickly and easily as they are, and I'm not sure this is headed in the right direction. Awards are meant to be special and something someone has to work to get... not something they can easily churn out in a week or two, if given the chance.
This is meant in no way as a personal attack towards anyone currently making awards, or those who have done so in the past. I'm just very concerned about the volume of the awards and some of the meanings behind them. The ratio in which they're given out is also a little concerning, and I feel like it's overworking our current lead staff within the project...given that many have obligations outside of the wiki and on the wiki as well.
I realize this is probably not going to be the best thing I've ever suggested, but I've noticed things aren't quite going as they've been planned to, and I think a complete review and overhaul is needed before things get to be too out of hand. I've already talked to a couple people about this, and I've gotten at least a bit of support, so here I am to suggest it in a formal manner. —Jayce(04:34, 1/27/2021)
Please. It's been increasingly difficult to manage PA with all the awards (which to an extent is a good thing to have the project active), and it unfortunately takes time of my limited free time to focus on other projects. But Jayce is correct about some of these awards. They defeat the original purpose of the project (though I was never active during that time), and I honestly think a break is needed. I will approve the awards that have already passed the voting process and conduct maintenance on the talk page in the mean time. Vec I am Iron Man! 👾 04:55, 27 January 2021 (UTC)

Lil question
So if I technically do something that is described in an award (like joining a project) do I just put it on my profile? Or do I need to do some process?
Usually, anyone who is a senior warrior, an awards board member, or the leader of this project will give you awards when they see that you have done something.
