Kitsu, I checked the archives and I see a [[Warriors_Wiki_talk:Books/Discussion_Archive_12#Erasing_translator_names_from_Publication_history.3F|discussion]] telling to this same person that the names shall not be removed. '''Then''' he/she goes through all articles and deletes them. It doesn't really appear a "good faith" edit, but whatever.

Bluestar's Prophecy~ Quote Nomination

1. I watched you as you grew up, and I saw how much you had to give to the Clan who adopted you. If I had made a different choice you would've given all your strength to ThunderClan. Forgive me. --Bluestar to her kits BP pg 6

2. A good warrior learns from his Clanmates. --Stonepelt to Blue& Snowkit BP pg 19

3. The gathering is held under a truce. For the night of the full moon we are one Clan, so long as the Silverpelt shines. But never forget that the truce ends. Tomorrow we'll be rivals again. --Moonflower to Bluepaw BP pg 85-86

4. You can hide from your clanmates. It'll be StarClan that judges you. --Swiftbreeze about Goosefeather BP pg 139

5. Like fire you will blaze through the forest. But beware, even the most powerful flames can be destroyed by water. --Goosefeather to Bluepaw BP pg 209

6. Bluefur: Will they hate us forever? Pinestar: WindClan? They’ll forgive us for the attack, then hate us for some other reason. Just as the other Clans will. The four Clans will be enemies till the end. And yet we all want the same things: prey to hunt, a safe territory to raise our kits, and peace to share dreams with our ancestors. Why must we hate one another over such simple desires? --BP pg 244

7. I have high hopes for you, Bluefur. You were my apprentice once, and I will always feel like your mentor. I want you to strive to become the best warrior you can be, because I believe one day ThunderClan will have need of your gifts. –Sunstar to Bluefur BP pg 369

8. Use all your nine lives for your Clan. We will be with you every at every step. If you need us we will come. You were chosen long ago, and StarClan has never regretted its choice. –Snowfur to Bluestar BP pg 503

9. If wishes were prey, we’d eat like lions come leaf-bare. But we’d die of boredom. You know that’s not what the life of the Clans’ is like. The warrior codes guides us through the dark times, the cold and the hunger. And the good times seem all the sweeter for it. Have faith Bluestar. We’ll survive. –Whitestorm to Bluestar BP pg 513

I know this is a lot but...They're pretty good xD. Vote! --Cinder Real or Not Real?01:25, January 20, 2012 (UTC)

There are a lot... I like number 5, 7 and 8. I like 7 the most though. 8's a bit spoilerish in a way if you read BP before the other books. No offence but some of them are good quotes for the characters speaking them, but not for the actual book itself. ~DJCandyFun~ I do enjoy fun...8D02:12, Fri, Jan, 20, 2012

I like #5, #8, and #9. I just think that #5 is short and sweet. It's kind of the main idea of the book. It practically describes the title to me. User:A Cat Named Cheshire/Sig

I like 5. -- Stoneclaw    02:14, January 20, 2012 (UTC)

I like #1, #2, and #9, but I don't feel as though you get the...same feeling I suppose as some of the other ones. User:A Cat Named Cheshire/Sig

@DJ there are enough quotes that we can pick out the ones which are spoiler-ish and the ones that don't fit the book. --Cinder Real or Not Real?22:02, January 20, 2012 (UTC)

Yes, definatly. ~DJCandyFun~ I do enjoy fun...8D00:44, Sat, Jan, 21, 2012

I am in favor of number five because it makes people curious and explains the book fairly well opposed to the other quotes. Atelda insert vague subtext here 00:52, January 21, 2012 (UTC)

I agree. --Cinder Real or Not Real?01:00, January 21, 2012 (UTC)

I also like #5. Rainlegs 01:28, January 21, 2012 (UTC)

I agree with that as well. RowanOnly One Can Judge... 01:30, January 21, 2012 (UTC)

  1. 5 all the way! Sweetflower01:40 Sat Jan 21

I vote for #5. User:A Cat Named Cheshire/Sig

I'm slightly leaning towards 9 actually. 5 and 9. Leopardclaw Box as blue as blue... 19:35, January 23, 2012 (UTC)

So then, comments before we vote? Atelda insert vague subtext here 23:42, January 27, 2012 (UTC)

Praise for Twilight (NP)

I found on B&N's website that it said Twilight was "An eventful installment to the Warriors: The New Prophecy series." Would this be praise? If so, how can I add it to the page? User:A Cat Named Cheshire/Sig

I would think so.  Stoneclaw    00:27, January 25, 2012 (UTC)

Thanks. User:A Cat Named Cheshire/Sig

Find a citations, and then otherwise, you would add/put it in the praise section of Twilight in italics and with the person/group that stated the praise at the bottom of the praise with the citation. Atelda insert vague subtext here 03:46, January 29, 2012 (UTC)

Leaving

Yeah, I'm quitting. Sorry everyone, but it won't make a difference anyway. I haven't even been active in this project for months...so you can remove me now. Mistystar Trust the Fire Within... 23:37, January 26, 2012 (UTC)

Aww.. bye Misty. May StarClan light your path and you be forever safe. ~DJCandyFun~ I do enjoy fun...8D01:22, Fri, Jan, 27, 2012

-Sniffles- Bye Misty, may you have luck in life! Sweetflower01:40 Fri Jan 27

Aww... bye Misty. You'll be missed! Rainlegs 02:13, January 27, 2012 (UTC)

Leaving x 2

That's right, I'm quitting as well. I can't stand it. I couldn't stand making the decision. Ths wiki is family. I'm tearing apart all the bonds painfully... But I can't do it anymore. Life's stressful. I have to do something with my life. I know I haven't started high school yet, but I'm ambitious. I want to grow up and be something useful, like a doctor or a lawyer. And to do that, I can't do this wiki. I'm literally crying as I type this, this decision is so hard! But I'm afraid I'll have to carry through. Maybe I'll come back, but not too soon. I'll pop in once in a while on not-so-busy days. Cloudy, I'm sorry. This Project was great, and I loved it secretly. And I never made good on my promise to complete the flowchart for Mission of Mercy or something. Another thing to be guilty about. Will someone please take over? Thank you all, for the wondrous times I've had here. I know I'm being selfish, but I hope you understand. Thanks again, and I wish this wiki, the best of luck to succeed for the future. SquirrelFlame29 Defying the Darkness 03:44, January 27, 2012 (UTC)

Squirrel..... we didn't get to talk much in the chat. This wiki wouldn't be the same without you, and you'll be dearly missed. May StarClan light your path. Rainlegs 03:45, January 27, 2012 (UTC)

Bye Squirrel. We wish you the best in life. ~DJCandyFun~ I do enjoy fun...8D01:52, Sat, Jan, 28, 2012

Bye Aquirrel :( Best wishes in life, hope to see ya soon! Sweetflower21:02 Sat Jan 28

Translator Names

I see that all Translator names from all book Publication Lists were deleted. What was the reason for doing it, and when did editors agree on this? Translating books is a harder work than most of you can imagine, and the translators deserve at least a mention in those lists (or on a dedicated mainspace page). Not to mention that it is valuable information for a wiki striving to be a complete Warriors reference (and it took me ages to gather all the information).

Of course, it can be removed if there is a contributor consensus with this conclusion, but I saw no such thing. I suggest you put back the translator names into the lists, and I also propose the person who deleted the information to be banned for destructive vandalism.

Kind regards, Helixtalk 20:56, January 28, 2012 (UTC)

...They were deleted? In my opinion, I agree Helix. The translators deserve at least some credit. But being banned is a bit too harsh.  Stoneclaw    21:01, January 28, 2012 (UTC)

Stoneclaw, they acted against the wishes of the members of this project. I agree with the banning, but it should only be temporary.

I never agreed to such a thing. I can go through the pages and try and find out who did it, but I can't promise anything. Thank you for pointing this out, because I would have never noticed otherwise. There was a discussion about this, but we in no way, shape or form decided to remove them. In fact, myself, Rainlegs and Atelda (I appointed the final to help while I don't have internet access), said no. It seems someone has acted upon their own reasonings. We'll be looking into this to find out why it was done. Jayce() 21:03, January 28, 2012 (UTC)

It was Leaf-storm. And i think DJ told her to do it thinking it didn't matter. I do feel bad ratting them out though. But anyways, I don't think it was needed tpo be removed. Sweetflower21:09 Sat Jan 28

Why must users think that just because it's a wiki, they can do what they please? Sweet, whether you ratted them out our not, it was actually helpful. I'll be talking to Leaf about removing things from pages, and to DJ for acting like a lead in this project. As far as I know, Atelda and Rainlegs have gotten back most of the information. I'll try and go through and finish it up later, if possible. Jayce() 22:09, January 28, 2012 (UTC)

Ok, I'm always happy to help out the projects. Sweetflower22:19 Sat Jan 28

I guess that Leaf and DJ possibly deserve a 24-hour ban. As there was a dicussion about removing the translators, and I think it was decided to keep the translators. These users disobeyed that, so there should be consequences.  Stoneclaw    22:42, January 28, 2012 (UTC)

Actually yeah, Stoneclaw, that makes sense. If a 24--hour Ban doesn't seem long enough for that, than maybe a couple days to a week. Sweetflower22:51 Sat Jan 28

There will be no ban for this. They made an edit that they considered to have merits. This is not, based on consensus, the desire of the wiki. In accordance the article will be reverted and the users responsible for the edit will be informed of why. A ban will be issued should they edit-war on the subject. Bans are for people who do things with malicious intent, not users who make changes that aren't popular. Bans are a last resort for problem users, not for people who are trying to help and falling short of the mark. I doubt DJ and Leaf were trying to do harm. Explain (nicely) to them that we're honoring the work of the translators and the mark a translator leaves on the text they create and that the community has already had this conversation and does not intent to remove the mentions in the future.  Kitsufox  Den/CoSC 01:49, January 29, 2012 (UTC)

Okay I come in peace, as I said, I remember seeing soemthing that no translated words should be added, only ones that appeared in the book, so I thought that we should delete them. However, I never touched or deleted them. Once we had the discussion I understood that we should keep them there. I apologise for playing leader. ~DJCandyFun~ I do enjoy fun...8D03:05, Sun, Jan, 29, 2012
