Allegiances, Cliffnotes and Galleries - Subpages?

Alright so I was talking to Cloudy earlier about this and asked her why the allegiance, gallery, and cliffnote pages weren't subpages of their respective books. That's basically what they are; extensions to the main book article that have just been given their own page. Also, the chapter pages are made as subpages, as well as the new browse pages, so it'd make sense to have them all that way. It'd require edits to a couple templates, but nothing too major would need changing except for the page names. It would also help it seem a bit more organized on category pages and just when browsing to have them as subpages. So I think we should move them. What do you guys think? Paleh Send help 08:10, September 26, 2012 (UTC)

I'd be up for this. I've never quite understood why they're regular pages myself, and I've wondered this multiple times. I wouldn't mind changing this, since the allegiances, cliffnotes, and galleries are just more information on a certain article. We would just have to move the pages, which wouldn't be that big of a deal, since it just takes a couple of clicks. Jayce  ( 22:40, 9/27/2012 )

I was wondering this a while ago, also. I think it would be a great idea to have them as subpages, like Cloudy and Paleh said, it would only take a few clicks. -Ducksauce 02:20, September 28, 2012 (UTC)

I like this. It never really occurred to me that they weren't subpages already. I'm all for this. Rainlegs 21:23, October 13, 2012 (UTC)

I always did wonder this, really. I'm up for this idea definately. owo  Stoneclaw 00:01,10/14/2012

Okay, so it appears we've come to an agreement, since there hasn't been any comments against this idea, and no comments for about a week. So, how are we going to go about moving the cliffnotes, allegiances, and galleries to subpages? Only admins can move pages, and I don't want to leave a slew of pages for them to have to delete if we simply create the new subpages, paste everything from the originals to the new pages, and mark the old page for deletion. I also don't want to pile the entire process on the shoulders of our admins to move the pages, either. Unless they're willing BD Any suggestions..?... Rainlegs 03:39, October 23, 2012 (UTC)

Anybody can move pages. But just admins can suppress redirects. And at least for a little while till we get everything changed, we'll still want redirects. So we can do it fine without needing to pile a ton of work on an admin. And the redirects can stay for a while and when we know for sure everything's been changed up, we can just mark them for deletion, or even leave them in case some returning members get confused when trying to search for the page. Paleh Send help 04:31, November 2, 2012 (UTC)

I see no issues with this, and since no one's really said anything against it, I say go ahead and move 'em. The only thing that'll need to be changed is on the templates used on the pages, and the templates, but, that isn't going to take very long. Jayce  ( 04:35, 11/2/2012 )

November FA

Blech, somehow we're almost halfway through October already. Somehow. Anyway, Dawn and Beyond the Code have been mentioned several times beforehand...maybe get around to using those this month? If not, I wouldn't mind seeing if a Super Edition could be featured..I'm not sure if any look good enough to be nominated yet, however. So...if that sounds good to anyone else, please find a book to possibly nominate. Thanks. :D Rainlegs 22:02, October 13, 2012 (UTC)

I'd suggest Crookedstar's Promise, or I'd be up for Dawn as the FA. o3o  Stoneclaw 00:00,10/14/2012

I'd like Beyond the Code or Dawn. =D -Ducksauce 00:04, October 14, 2012 (UTC)

I like Dawn. Appledash the light of honor 01:26, October 14, 2012 (UTC)

I also like Dawn. Sweetflower 23:47, October 14, 2012 (UTC)

Dawn would be a wonderful idea. It's been suggested more than once, and it's a quality article that's deserving of being an FA. Jayce  ( 22:50, 10/15/2012 ) looks like we've come to a general agreement. CBV? Rainlegs 03:43, October 23, 2012 (UTC)

Vote's up for Dawn, guys. I'm so sorry for slacking and totally forgetting about this. ._. Jayce  ( 03:29, 10/30/2012 )

Looks good to me. Comments? Sweetflower 00:23, October 15, 2012 (UTC)

I think it looks good, however, I think that the summary is slightly choppy overall, so could you fix that to add more flow in the sentences? Sorry if that sounds confusing.  Stoneclaw 01:25,10/25/2012

I tried my best to fix it up. Sweetflower 21:51, October 25, 2012 (UTC)
