So, I've been popping in and out on this wiki recently and decided to rejoin PC. I'll try my best to be active, and I'll probably get on about twice a day or more. {{User:Rowanflight/Sig}} 22:05, July 31, 2014 (UTC)

Talltail and Jake

So, I was working on the article for Bess, when I came across an interesting tidbit. Keep in mind, I never finished Tallstar's Revenge, so I didn't notice this at first. Jake travels with Tallstar (who is a cited loner due to leaving WindClan), to find Bess and her group, and proceeds to stay with Talltail and actually appears to have temporarily joined their group alongside Talltail. Now, since Talltail is a cited loner, would this also qualify Jake for a loner/rogue ranking, and Talltail for a rogue image? Jake also stays with them, and hunts and stuff as well.

I'm not sure, but since the visitors are explicitly called rogues, and Talltail and Jake stay with them, wouldn't that mean they'd get called rogues too? I only say this because on page 382, Talltail said that he (although lying) wanted to join them. Although Jake's still called a kittypet, I think he'd fit the qualifications for at least a mention as a loner. <shrugs> I'm not sure, so that's why I'm coming to PC, instead of acting on my own and adding it. Jayce(17:48, 5/30/2014)

I'd think that Jake would still be a kittypet, since he's still called one, while Tallstar would get a rogue mention. Queen Beebs 19:44, May 30, 2014 (UTC)

I actually agree with Snow; I think Jake could be have been a loner for a bit. Sorrel It's everything I dreamed 19:45, May 30, 2014 (UTC)

I think that if he's still called a kittypet, then he's still a kittypet. -Ducksauce 04:23, June 4, 2014 (UTC)

If he's not referred to as a rogue/loner, he shouldn't get a rogue/loner charart. Simple as that. Appledash the light of honor 17:22, June 4, 2014 (UTC)

Talltail joins the group of cats, and they're called rogues (multiple times). He leaves soon after, but he still joined them. =/ I wasn't talking about the charart (not everything is about art and I don't care about that), I was talking about his rank. Jayce(20:52, 6/8/2014)

I was only talking about Jake, but if Talltail does join the group of cats and he is called a rogue then he deserves a rogue ranking. -Ducksauce 21:17, June 8, 2014 (UTC)

Does anyone else have anything to add? Are we agreed? -Ducksauce 21:33, June 18, 2014 (UTC)

Yup, I'd agree with this o3o Queen Beebs 21:41, June 18, 2014 (UTC)

Question

Would certain characters that had things with their POV (point-of-view) get the category of "Main Character"? For example, despite having his POV in few chapters in one book, Flametail is called a main character. Examples of characters getting parts with their POV also include the Bonus Scenes of DotC (Petal, River, and Wind), the manga/graphic novel ending of SkyClan's Destiny (Rabbitleap), and a character who had multiple chapters in their POV (Stick). Since they had chapters with them as the main character, would they get the category? I hope this doesn't sound confusing. Queen Beebs 22:57, June 26, 2014 (UTC)

idk about anyone else but I've always gone by if they narrate or have a major part in the plot of a book. tbh all categories like that (Minor, Supporting, and Main) are all up to your own interpretation based on the books -Ducksauce 23:13, June 26, 2014 (UTC)

Schmerr...main characters are usually those that are the main characters in arcs, field guides, super editions, whatever. Major characters are main characters in the whole arc. (so I thought by Stick, you meant Jayfeather's stick for a moment, and I was really kinda weirded out that Jayfeather's stick could suddenly talk somehow but it's 'kay, I understand ;P) Atelda insert vague subtext here 01:55, July 12, 2014 (UTC)

Zig zag, cross the floor...

Hi friends. Due to my recent hiatus and the foreseeable busyness for the climax of my high school career (yeah, shocking, making the most out of high school, what?) I am stepping down to deputy making Ducksplash the new leader of Project:Characters. :) Congrats! Atelda insert vague subtext here 03:50, July 29, 2014 (UTC)

Thanks 'teldy I look forward to leading the project and we'll honor your great leadership! -Ducksauce 18:09, July 31, 2014 (UTC)
