This is the Project Character Art Approvals Page
Place new character art for approval here. Discussions should be routed to the discussion page, while all Art tweaks should be routed to the tweak page, and all Tweak nominations should be routed to the nominations page.
Here are some guidelines all users must comply with:
The limit is 60 images. If you exceed it, your image will be immediately declined.
Your image is yours until it is archived, do not reserve a new one until yours has completed CBA and/or has been archived due to other matters.
If your image has been declined due to the one month limit, you must wait two weeks to reclaim your image. This gives other users the chance to work on it if they wish.
If your image has gone less than five (5) days without comments, please do not ask for comments or a CBA. It is common to go a couple consecutive days without comments before a CBA is set into place. To ask before the five day timespan has passed puts your image at risk of being declined.
Please do not align your images! This messes up the structure of the page.
Please use this section to put images up for approval only.
Ghost Blanks - For Approval
Didn't feel right putting "Tweaked" as the heading on this page. I did change a couple things that were bothering me before I uploaded them (such as the far front leg, the cheek fluff on the longhaired, and the back leg placement so that it actually lined up with the other paws). Comments? — max★зимʜий ᴄᴏлдᴀт(01:10, 02/4/2020)
^ It was intentional due to the perspective. The only thing that is facing forward is the cat's face and the chest slightly, but, to match the original ghost blanks, the front paws and such are facing away from us - also per the linked reference above as well. — max★зимʜий ᴄᴏлдᴀт(03:06, 07/4/2020)
Maybe give the paw pads more shape. Right now they just kind of look like circles with lines going through them, try to make them look more like individual shapes if that makes sense.--—Oceanpelt( ) 14:30, April 6, 2020 (UTC)
Gonna leave a wall instead of peppering comments here and there, sorry in advance. Would you mind making the short-haired's tail thinner? I also think the ears could stand to be made slightly smaller - some breeds have it that large, but in the interest of being a more generic cat design. Also, very broad stroke, I know, but I think the fur lines on the long-furred could stand to reach a little deeper, while they should be less deep* for lack of better word, on the short-furred. To create a bigger difference between them. Also gonna leave a few pixel removal (red)/addition (blue) suggestions here. Just the typical type stuff, smoothing and the like - take or leave, I just had time to make it.—spookyis that... a furry cat?!?15:05, 4/06/2020
So, I can see that you did define the depth, but, I think the overall shading could be smoothed out, especially the area above the back leg - which also wouldn't reach that high with your current source. Try this redline for shading; the lighter red is what I'd recommend as your first layer of shading, and the darker red is where the depth is mainly required. Once that is properly smoothed out, so that it doesn't look hard-edged, which I think is what's throwing me at the moment, the depth might actually be fine at the moment. I'm also not really seeing a difference with the earpink either? — max★зимʜий ᴄᴏлдᴀт(01:35, 07/4/2020)
