Project Charart This is a project discussion page, where a group of dedicated editors may come together and work towards their common goal. For more information on projects, please see the community portal. This is the Project Character Art Approvals PagePlace new character art for approval here. Discussions should be routed to the discussion page, while all Art tweaks should be routed to the tweak page, and all Tweak nominations should be routed to the nominations page. Chararts needing to be done are hereHere are some guidelines all users must comply with: Make sure to follow the guidelines. The limit is 50 images. If you exceed it, your image will be immediately declined. Your image is yours until it is archived, do not reserve a new one until yours has completed CBA and/or has been archived due to other matters. If your image has been declined due to the one month limit, you must wait two weeks to reclaim your image. This gives other users the chance to work on it if they wish. If your image has gone less than five (5) days without comments, please do not ask for comments or a CBA. It is common to go a couple consecutive days without comments before a CBA is set into place. To ask before the five day timespan has passed puts your image at risk of being declined. Please do not align your images! This messes up the structure of the page. Want help or feedback on chararts? Define shading depth and the light on the tail. I'm assuming the light source is coming from the top right corner? If so, there'd still be some shading on the face. — max ^{it is the real thing,} (00:31, 28/7/2020)

The shading is still overblurred on the legs. I'd recommend looking at other rogue images, such as these with similar light-sources. I'd recommend erasing shading from those areas so there's an equal amount of shading and light on them. Vec ^{I am Iron Man! 👾} 19:32, July 28, 2020 (UTC)

When you upload an image to the wiki, once you select the file, you can change its name in the "Destination filename" box. I believe this should be short-haired to match the image. I'd also picked a slightly less neon yellow. This also needs a slightly paler muzzle, and the teeth on the collar could be smaller too. I'm not seeing much of a difference between the uploads; also most of Vec's comment still stands about the stripes - per their screen cap above. Blur doesn't mean to make the make the stripes obsolete; right now they seem too blurred that you can hardly see them. Blurred in a sense means to make it softer. Vec ^{I am Iron Man! 👾} 12:32, August 2, 2020 (UTC)

There's waste surrounding the image, the teeth lineart should be black like the regular lineart, and the shading placement is still not defined. You may be overblurring your shading layer. The teeth lineart needs to be sharper (like the lineart), and I recommend again checking the apprentice tutorials or other images for shading. The shading still seems overblurred; it should still retain its shape and definition but while remaining soft. Try using a smaller brush to blurr or soften too. I also think the shading could be expanded more on the tail, haunch and back legs; the shading seems super slim compared to the massive shoulder shading.
