The shading needs to be smoothed more, pretty much everywhere, save for the head. There appears to be shading leaking on the tail, belly, and limbs. Can you also define the shading on the one paw furthest from us and inside the ear?

Sorry, but the light source is contradictory. The back/legs/most of it shows it coming like so, but the facial shading is on the wrong side. Whipped up an example of what I meant - green is where there should be no shading/light, blue is what should be shaded given the source, red is just the front legs which need their shading smoothed since it's too sharp from the last erasure, and the purple is the belly shading, which is leaking away from the lineart.—spooky is that... a furry cat?!? 23:26, 4/27/2019

The shading on the belly is still leaking away from the lineart. Also, the added shading on the face and ears is much lighter than the rest and could stand to be darkened^^ Additionally, there's leaking shading on the bottom side of the tail, a new sharp erasure mark, and the light on the front legs could be defined with a smoother transition - it did solve the erasure mark issue, but was over blurred and removed the light that was present.—spooky is that... a furry cat?!? 00:18, 4/28/2019

Dethumbed. Don't thumb your images in the future! This is also the wrong size for the queen blank. Right click the longhair queen on the main page and click "See full size image" Then save it and put your image there. Lineart is missing on the ears and nose. It doesn't apppear you are using layers, when you should because it is so much easier using them. See their benefits in the Apprentice Tutorials. What are the lighter blotches on her? Are those highlights? If so, tone them down (on the opacity bar). Define your light source- where is the light coming from? The pupils appear to be inconsistent in color- one eye has a darker black than the other. Shading is still leaking in some places. Don't worry! I struggle with that as well. Fill those blank areas with shading- I can provide a redline if you want. Smooth out the shading everywhere- just smooth out the edges with the blur or smudge tool, Gaussian Blur makes shading leak away, only use it if you want a really good shading gradient. Here . Red= fill in/add shading. Blue= Remove shading to fit your light source. Green=Waste. Delete that. Yellow= missing/light pixels. Magenta= blur/smudge and tone down the highlights. What is that on her belly? If that's shading depth you need to lighten it and blur/smudge it. Lighten the highlight spots on her legs more and then blur/smudge them. Some argued that it wasn't valid, back when it was voted on, and the majority that timesaid it was valid. To reverse that we do need to bring it back up again and have a trail, because wiki-wide policy is of following consensus. im sorry but i honestly think that with this light source, basically all of the paws would be in light except for places that are directly blocked from the light. i already did expand it on the front legs as much as the light source would allow, but i honestly think that if i expanded the shading it 1) wouldnt look good and 2) wouldnt match the light source. a couple of cats have pretty thin shading on their legs/paws here and many of my starclan cats Burntclaw 07:28, April 29, 2019 (UTC)

I am going to be that person, but is there a valid reason this does not match the kit image? Just because it's being redone does not give you any reason whatsoever to disregard the previous pattern, especially when you do not own the kit. Wait, what? She's white, why would she need darkened? Regardless, the warrior and elder versions that were previously there used pure white as their base (I did them, hence why I know), so I don't see why this shouldn't match.
