Ok, but when I tried to put them on separately, the first image disapeared, that's the only reason I put them in the gallery. But, it's fixed.Bluestar11796 23:40, August 16, 2011 (UTC)

If you're going with the second one - The lineart looks a little blurry, though it may change. Blur/smudge the patches and blur the stripes. Also, redden the earpink some and define the shading :3

Gray and ginger.... huh, is that ever possible? XD Anyways, this looks GREAT, but the shading seems a bit funky, like it's got two different shadings, one for the gray, and one for the ginger, it doesn't look all the same, if that made any sense. Make it look more like the Stormkit from After The Flood's manga pic. Yes smudge into the gray. For example, look down at the Mapleshade at the bottom of this page. All of her patches are smudged together. Try that, but on a smaller scale. If the changes don't show, there's nothing you can do about it. Just look at the second-to-top file on the file page. The changes always start to show after a few days, don't worry. :D The light source means where the light is coming from; for example, if the light is coming from the side of the cat, the highlights would all be on the side; if the light is coming from the front, the back would be darker than the front. It looks like there is a gray stripe on the back, get rid of that and blur the earpink a bit more. Moon, you don't have to re-do it. For my Skyheart image, I simply put the longhaired image as a layer over mine, and erased all of the lineart of the shorthair. The tail will be re-done, though. The fact that I have GIMP has no impact on that. I practiced doing the shading and looked at how loners were shaded, on the high parts of theit bodies you just don't add shading, and on the really low points you add extra shading. There stil seems to be some waste around it. I would add a layer and color it a bright floresent color and then you can see where you missed some of the waste. Lighten the highlights or add some and then you might want to use an airbrush/fuzzy brush and make it a color inbetween the highlights and shading and then color over the edge of the shading so it's smoother.
