I don't think he gets ragged fur as that may be only for his elder rank. Correct me if I'm wrong. Also define the shading on the main body. Poppy all youre doing is shading along the edges of the lineart. What you need to do is shade inside the actual blank. Please look at other examples. User:StormSongz/Sig 11:50, July 3, 2015 (UTC)

I'm really sorry to have to say this, but I still can't see your light source. Maybe try shading placement like him. In order to follow that light source on this image, remove the chest and muzzle shading, and add light on <--- side of each leg. Also, remove the shading on the top of the tail. You should try defining the light source more, which means which /direction/ the light is shining the cat in (beautiful). If you want him to be shone from the right[1], fill the shading like this[2](as a reference). If you want him to be shone on the left like this[3], fill it like this[4] or to look like this[5](fill like this[6]. Keep in mind that don't be afraid to expand the shading a bit, as the blur tool kinda "shrinks" it. Hope that helped :) ~ Cheryl Champagne Problems 🍷 (13:04,7/9/2015)

It's just basically one side without shading which is the direction light is shining from, and the shading is on the other side. Say if light is shining from the left(which means the shading is on the right)the shading should take up about 1/3-1/2 of main body, 1/4-1/3 for the head, and about 1/2 for the legs and tail. The back foot is white with two layers of shading over it. I can change that foot to brown, but I'm 90% sure it should be white?
