I think you're still missing some stripes compared to the warrior and the placement looks a bit off as well; the pattern could also be softer and thinner overall. The rest of the set's stripes seem to be made up of less-condensed individual strokes that also flow along the angle of the body. Could you also add the white fluff inside the ears? They looks a too solid -- what I did was take a size 1 round brush and run it back and forth in an overall triangular pattern or with the implied contours of the body. i agree with winter. could you also try to match my general stripe style? my stripes have more variety in width, but these seem to all look the same. the stripes on the legs and tail should also be thicker and closer together. the base color gray also looks way lighter than my image + there is a paler gray on the chest + stomach and paws, which i dont see in this image (although its hard to see in my image). the markings on the face (white and brown) can be smoothened out too as they look pretty sharp. the dorsal stripe on the back could be a bit thicker + the tail has a dorsal stripe as well. sorry if this was kinda unclear im kinda tired lol Mime smoothie (talk) 00:19, 28 November 2023 (UTC)

Right now it looks like you’ve taken a screenshot - there should be a way to save the image directly off of your art program. If you want any tutorials, I’d recommend checking out the Warriors Wiki:Charart/Apprentice Tutorials ^^ - arenzel _⭑_⭑_⭑ 18:03, 22 November 2023 (UTC)

The image needs to be saved as a transparent png, and put to the left. This charart is looking pretty good so far, good job for starting with a black cat as they can be tricky :) The eye needs some shining, and the earpink should be added/defined. A dark gray color should suffice. The shading should be difined, I know it is hard for black cats, but the tutorial that Arenzel added will have tips. Good job for having the pelt colour not be perfectly black, but it should be on a lower layer than the outline. Right now some of the lines look a bit thin. If you can, extracting the line drawing is a really helpful way to get rid of the white interior for colouring. I really like the eye color's depth, and blurring it would add even more. There's a weird gray outline around all of the lineart and im not sure why. it could be because of how the white of the blank was erased, so make sure you got rid of the white properly. i dont actually think i can see much shading, and if its there, it should be defined (which Brambleheart already mentioned). if you need any help or advice, feel free to message me on my talk page and ill be happy to help you as best as i can :) its looking good so far though, especially for a black cat first charart (my first charart was a black cat too, i know theyre hard to shade, i know the pain lol) ~ Thunder 🌺 (Kaguya-sama) ^{Love is war ❤!} 02:25, 23 November 2023 (UTC)

I revised the art according to what I was asked to do. As for the thumb bit, when I didn’t use thumb my image was so big it took up the entire page. Is there some trick I’m not getting? For those with concerns about file size, I checked and I believe I'm using the correct one, so I'm not sure why it's saying it's to large. It still seems you are having issues uploading the blank to your program. The image itself should be 176 × 112 pixels, and by that I mean actual pixels. Judging from the file size and how you colored in the eye, the image was somehow largened. In comparison, here is what this image should look like size wise. shading depth is a smaller, thinner, and darker layer of shading. usually, shading depth is the same color as your shading color, just a little darker. i'm pretty sure there's a tutorial on how to add shading depth in the apprentice tutorials ~Ripple ☆ 19:26, 10 December 2023 (UTC)

The ginger markings on the tail are still slightly different than the kittypet image. The depth of your shading can still be defined on the face since it looks a little flat. Watch out for leaking shading on the back legs, specifically the one farthest from us. Your ginger/cream additions are making the shading look blotchy. When adding markings to already shaded areas, you sometimes have to use the exact color of similarly shaded areas instead of the regular cream/orange, to help it blend in. While this might just be me, at the moment I feel it's a little unclear which direction the light is coming from - the body, head and base of the tail seem to imply that the source is the bottom right corner, but the bottom of the chest, paws, and chin being entirely in shadow seems to contradict that. If you're working with the light coming from the right (this --> side), then you need more light on the chest, this <-- forepaw, and the tail tip. And there should also be a shadow behind this <-- shoulder in the armpit and belly area. If you're working with layers for shading, I'd recommend making a second layer of shading with smaller area to increase depth ~Scarlet wind^{"Time to go home Flap."} 03:25, 9 December 2023 (UTC)

I feel like the shading on the body could be adjusted to match the curve of the back to make it look more like a round shape- something like this. It still looks like your shading is coming from two different sites. That could be an option, since it's currently very hard to make out what's darker colors or shading. But you should also expand the current shading and give it some overall shape, such as File:Amberleaf.warrior.png, File:Cherryfall.warrior.png, and File:Daisytail.warrior.png.
