Nominations

If you wish to nominate an image, you link the image (like so - [[:File:image.png]]) underneath the appropriate subheading, and list the reason(s) you wish it to be redone/tweaked. Project members with the ranking of warrior or above can vote, and only five votes are necessary for the vote to pass or fail. If you have the ability to archive, make sure that at least a day has passed after it has a consensus before archiving.

Half Moon (Sp) - Redo Nomination

File:Half Moon.softpaw.png The light source is very inconsistent. Especially on the —> front leg and the back. Some depth could maybe be added too.

Sorry, but I don't agree with this nomination at all, especially the part about defining the shading depth. The image does not look at all flat, which I think should be the standard for judging whether an image has enough depth. White cats do not need to have super dark, defined shading, and you would pretty much have to add darker shading in order to define the depth on this image. I also don't think the light source is really that inconsistent either. I can tell where the light is supposed to be coming from, and the source that's used is actually fairly similar to the source that's used on the apprentice tutorials and on Fish Leap's image (1 of the other 4 softpaw images). —Ivy ☆ 23:34, May 14, 2020 (UTC)

The source is fine. As per the guidelines, the rules are that it must show a 3D object, which it does. I will not be changing the source, as Fish Leap does have a very similar one as well. This hyperobsession with sources needs to stop, perfectly fine images are being tweaked over this picky stuff. —Jayce(01:38, 5/15/2020)​

Missing the tabby “M”. Yes, it can be argued that charart doesn’t have to be realistic. But I know we added stripes to a plain cats charart because all ginger cats have stripes.

Redos

Feathertail (set) - Redo Nomination

The set doesn’t seem to match very well, especially the warrior/StarClan and the toeh doesn’t match the kit and apprentice. Would the be better as a tweak? -Glacier (16:40, 5/05/2020)

The stripe placement looks fine but the colors and stripe texture could be tweaked on the warrior. I think the others match fine, except maybe for the toeh's tail, which is pointed rather than blunt on the set. Eggheart!🐥^{A True Warrior} 04:39, May 7, 2020 (UTC)

Agreeing with Egg; I think its mainly the warrior's placement which is off and that could be tweaked and not the entire set. It's actually quite well matched between each image pattern wise - but the tail on the toeh could possibly also be tweaked if Patch agrees? — max ^{it is the real thing,} (07:54, 07/5/2020)

Approved Tweaks

Once an image is under this heading, it may be reserved on the project main page and crossed out with a <s> and a </s>. The image may only be removed from this list when it is approved and archived.

All project leads are to keep track of the number of images on this list, including those that are crossed out. Should the number rise above 50, nominations will close and remain closed until the number of images on the list is down to 40.

When placing images onto this list, please also add if a user has reserved said image. Reservations will last for one week after the nomination is archived and placed into the correct archive, unless there are other matters that interfere with a user not being able to complete said images by the time their reservation expires (such as a comment that would usually require an additional nomination, like adding stripes or changing a pattern completely).

A tweaked image on this list can be redone with permission from a project lead. If a project lead wishes to redo an image on this list (such as a solid that is not part of a set), they must contact another lead for permission. If it is an overhaul of a set, another nomination must be posted into the correct section, and the voting process will begin again.
