Correct me if I'm wrong, but the nomination didn't state any issues with the shading for this image? Unless of course some of it was lost during the colour tweak; but even then, can you match the original shading placement that it had before? — max ^{it is the real thing,} (00:05, 20/5/2020)

I'm not sure if it's the base color or highlights... but this seems really shiny, for lack of a better term, and almost plastic-like. Is it possible to fiddle around with the shading/highlights? If not, I totally get that. —Jayce(18:46, 5/20/2020)​​​

I know this is meant to be a redo, but I think the image should at least resemble what it was beforehand. The tail should be more stumped, like what it was before. The earpink seems far too dark, and he's missing his shredded ear. There's also waste littered around the image. Shading could also stand to be smoothed out.

I'm also of the opinion that the previous lineart was fine, and probably should've been used due to that factor. The base also looks way too bright compared to the alternative warrior; which holds the master colours for this set. There's no cause to use a different shading tint than before, also, than Tyb had before. It now stands out among the rest of the set, which is all extremely consistent.—spooky ^{is that... a furry cat?!?} 22:44, 5/22/2020

Actually, I'm going to bring up a prior precedent issue. I think this should be the alt warrior exactly, because this is what this is nommed for. However, that is Skye's image, and they should have been the one to have this, because someone who isn't the OA tweaking an active person's image is illogical. The reason this set was nominated was to match the alt warrior. Nothing will ever quite match the alt warrior for this image, the actual warrior, as much as the og artist of the alt warrior taking that image and altering it to be this one. Prior case is this, with Sparkpelt's, where Patch, as Firestar's OA, was ceded this claim because she should have had it from the get-go. In a wrap, I think this should be withdrawn and given to Skye for that reason, as it cannot satisfy 'matching the alt warrior' while being a newly made image while holding the same blank.—spooky ^{is that... a furry cat?!?} 23:00, 5/22/2020
