Tweak Nominations Limit

So, I was wondering.. since we don't really enforce the "time limit" too much right now on the tweak nominations page.. is it possible we could just get rid of it for the time being? Everyone is busy, drained, ect, with the whole virus thing going on, and I'm not sure enforcing more crunch time to get pixel art done is the best thing to do right now. Now, this doesn't mean someone should go and nominate it and then keep it to themselves and not actually do it... this is moreso for people who are actively editing/contributing/posting their artwork.

Say for example if Vec has a lot of tweaks/redos/OA claims to do. Since she's currently working on them, alongside her mainspace contributions, the time limit would not be enforced with her, since she is still doing her work. Crunch time encourages sloppy work and this should be a fun project.

Now, if someone nominates a set, lets them sit for a few weeks, and doesn't contribute, I'd say that they should lose their claims, because that's just hogging images. This proposal isn't really for them, since we take care of that anyways, but moreso to allow our more active users to take a breather and not have to worry about losing an image claim while they continue to work on other projects. I'm honored to be the example lol. I'd think this would work now, since we have an influx of tweaks and there's still plenty of mainspace stuff to get done. How long should we implement this? Should we do this for every new book release and have this limit be automatically be in place for say like a month or so? Vec I am Iron Man! 👾 20:13, April 28, 2020 (UTC)

Month's fine. I concur with the base logic of this. However, I think it should be for people who are, as you said, working on their stuff. People under this shouldn't be able to yeet off and say, claim a bunch of stuff that perhaps isn't their sets when they have a lot to do, and then use this to keep hold of their stuff in the meanwhile etc. Stuff like that - hogging, as said - has potential to happen if the wording of the guideline isn't phrased properly. For the OAs who are actively doing stuff and going through their stuff, there's no reason to put a limit on them specifically in that scenario.spooky is that... a furry cat?!? 20:41, 4/28/2020

Unless you're meaning different one, the one from Mothwing's Secret is already reserved by someone else.spooky is that... a furry cat?!? 01:52, 4/29/2020

Hi there,

I have Ravenpaw's path but it numbers the pages differently than it does if you have the series that has seperate books. Does anyone have A Clan in Need? I need to look at one of the characters for my art. So if anyone has a clan in need, can you please take a picture of page 73? You can upload it as my personal image.

sister kits

I just saw that Haze has the sister charart even though she was only a kit. Since we have kit blanks for different affiliations, shouldn’t we have one for sister kits?-Glacier (14:28, 5/11/2020)

They're still Sisters nevertheless. And in this case, it can be argued that they're large enough to count as adult cats, given how the Sisters are. All she-cats are called Sisters, regardless of their age, I've noticed. Therefore, we shouldn't be splitting them up by age- they clearly aren't within the series. Jayce(20:18, 5/11/2020)

Moor Runner blank

Since tunnelers have their own blank, shouldn’t moor runners?-Glacier (02:36, 5/14/2020)

We had this discussion before, and it was decided that they're too much like warriors to warrant their own blank. Tunnellers have a completely different skill set than the moor runners do, and they aren't the same thing as regular warriors. Moor runners, however, are basically just warriors with a fancy name. Tallstar's Revenge shows this. Jayce(02:41, 5/14/2020)
