Personally, I think it'd be easier to do it all in pixlr, but of course it's your choice. If you do it in pixlr just take the pencil tool on 1 or 2 pixel size, and just... draw the collar. X3 ♫ insaneular ♫^{Down at Fraggle Rock!} 04:35, February 21, 2010 (UTC)

Acually, she was a queen. In "The Rise of Scourge" she had given birth to, Ruby, Socks, and Tiny, who later became Scourge. So yes, Quince was a queen. But, collars are hard to draw, especially on queen blanks. I agree with Quail, try doing her kittypet image if you like Goldfall^{Meet me at the end of the rainbow!} 19:46, March 2, 2010 (UTC)

I'm not sure what you mean by saying you need to know how to shade it, but I'll explain two different ways.

• Using the burn tool, set the range on highlights, and it will show up on white.

• Run the tool along the back, the legs, the edges of the head, and the bottom of the tail.

The shading is still really really dark, try lightening it and blurring. Look at some other kittypets to see how they're shaded as this style isn't very connected.Haikage^{Ash's Talk} 11:35, February 24, 2010 (UTC)

She doesn't look anything like her queen image, as a matter of fact, she doesn't look like her description either. She looks white, not pale gray. And the shading still looks like stripes. I'm back with a new charart! And (luckily) this one is about 1,000 times better then Icicle. This is 37 but 2 of the things were discussions so technically this is 35. I'm going to have to disagree Ash - I always do my shading first and use the burn tool to add stripes resulting in the same evenly shaded effect without the overblurred stripes because of trying to blur the shading. Anyway, this is good Artimas, just make everything more polished. Make sure there aren't gaps in the shading, so it looks consistent, and make your stripes a little thicker. ✐SaNdY 22:42, February 24, 2010 (UTC)

Oh, wow! Is this your first attempt at a tabby? If so, it's pretty good! (You should see my first attempt at a tabby. LOL. xD) But the stripes don't exactly resemble the ones on Sandstorm's Warrior/Queen image. Try making them a bit more curved, and make them like tree branches so they split off in differant places. The eyes came straight from the warrior image, but I used the colour picker to get the tabby colour, as I wasn't sure if the user that did him as a warrior had gone over the markings more than once. :) Brightfrostof SunClan...File:Brightfrost1.png 17:50, March 3, 2010 (UTC)

It never said that he was black with white. It showed that in Cats of the Clans, but that book can't really be trusted as a lot of the characters in that book were done completely wrong. I agree with Nightfall, it needs to be lighter. Shigura: It does that on a lot of the blanks, I think it happened when Pixlr was updated or something like that. Nightshine: the back hind paw looks a bit flat, try bringing the front of it forward a little bit in a curve like the other hind paw. About the front paws, (on the loner blanks) I don't think there's an extra toe...I think that's a tuft of fur on the longhair blanks, so in my opinion I think that you should get rid of the extra toe. It seems spoilers are unavoidable in this case, but I'm sure everyone knows by now that Mistyfoot suceeds Leopardstar as this has been confirmed for a while. We have had countless users asking to make her leader charart, some even attempting to reserve her and we are aware of what a popular character she has become. We've talked it over for many an evening an eventually decided that the fairest way to decide who gets to make her leader charart is to use the random factor. There will be an opportunity to sign up under this message and the 'winning name' (so to call it) will be generated using a random online generator. Insane has kindly agreed to oversee this and will video the selection so it can be ensured fair for everyone.

This event is mainly to avoid a mad rush of users fighting to add her to their current projects on the 23rd, and as my original idea of just reserving her before any of you wake up was rejected... ( ^_^ ) well, this is the best option and should hopefully prevent any arguments.

Note: This is a one time occurence due to the mass interest in her character and will unlikely be repeated in the future for any other character.

Well, anyway. If you have any questions feel free to ask me either here or on my talk page; I am writing this in Bramble's absence so posting on her talk page is not the quickest option right now.

I say, to fill in the pelt color with that pelt color, (upload the image, open it, click the dropper tool, click the pelt, click your image, fill it in). Then do the tabby stripes with the same color as the tabby stripes on his leader image. The only thing I would fix is the shading near the face. The transition line between shading and the regular pelt color is abrupt; soften it out with the blur tool. I did that on purpose, to give the impression of the head's "width" that casts a shadow on the neck, but I can fix it. As for membership of the project... Well, I don't think his leader charart was meant to look gray and white, although now that I think about it, it really does. But that can easily be fixed during tweak week. Another issue is the black patch on his chest, which he has on his warrior image but not on his leader image. Personally, I think I'd make him without the patch. I don't picutre him with the black patch on his chest, but I also don't picture him like his leader image is. Similar to his leader image, but not excatly. Hey guys, just a quick note to senior warriors, when declining art, please put the <nowiki></nowiki> tags around the image. This allows the file to show up in the Unused files and lets me or Bramble delete it more easily, and also prevents it from making a redlink if it gets deleted anyway.
