Yes, and gray is a light black. But fur color doesn't nescisarrily matter. Skin color does. I've seen black and gray cats with both black and pink noses. I think you should lighten the stripes a bit. They look too dark. I always thought stripes on ginger cats weren't prominent, and you can't really tell that they have them. I'm sorry, but this looks really weird...I'm NOT trying to be mean, it just looks like the pelt is watercolored or something. You might want to redo it. Make the earpink a bit smaller, and there's loads of blurred lineart. And yeah, I agree with Ivystripe: The pelt looks watercoloured, but it's nice that way, I think, and get rid of the extra white above the white on the foot closest to us. It's messy. Question about Leafstar's images

Ok, I know I put my question in the incorrect place last night, where nobody could see it, so I'm just making a new section for it. On the Nominations page, I had originally put Leafstar's images down as needing cream (I DON'T see cream anywhere on her images), and somebody chnged it to just needing cream stripes. I'm confused as to how she has cream on her: I mostly wanted to clear that up, because I'm doing her queen image, but it'll be hard to make it match if she's not tweaked for the right thing. There are cream blotches along her haunch, her back, her fore-head, her tail, her stomach, and her left fore-leg. I really like how this is, the cream is nice and soft. Not to me. Highlights are brighter tones of the pelt, but the cream here isn't at all the shade of brown. I think Rainwhisper is right, if we did each cat with the same color of cream, then they wouldn't stand out as individuals. I just really hoped she gets tweaked soon, because while Tweak Week is going on and I can't submit anything, I want to try to get it as ready as I possibly can, since we have a lot of chararts to do, and I need the right cream color (fyi the cream on all her images ARE in fact different, so one has to be picked for all of them) Iveh Yo ! 20:25, July 22, 2011 (UTC)

You should only make it three for the ones that can handle it. Heck, there may be some members that can only handle one or two. Although, three does sound like a good idea. I agree to extending Tweak Week, but how long are we going to extend it? The list is quite long, and a week or two may not be enough for some of the images needing to tweak (i.e. shading). Many apprentices I know are eager for Tweak Week to get done so they can work on their charart. It's a bit unfair to keep them waiting especially to the ones that have just become apprentices. As for the 3 chararts I think it would be a good idea, as people would know what they're limits are. Nominating more warriors would be good, but only if you think they're ready to tweak images. I have no idea, but I've been thinking...I KNOW there are a lot of images that need to be done, but at least those characters have images. There are many cats, such as Firekit and Beetlenose that have absolutelly NO pixils, and they need some. I do think that if the admins want it to be significantly longer that we should still be able to resume doing normal pixils. There are more chances for Tweak WeekIveh Yo ! 00:57, July 23, 2011 (UTC)

New Suggestion

I had an idea after looking at the page for Sunfish, who is only ever given a description by her appearance in the manga at the end of Crookedstar's Promise. If a cat only appears in a manga or isn't described in detail in a book but is shown in a manga, can we go with the manga description? I know there would be color problems, but we could just set the charart to generic colors and put 'tabby', 'totoiseshell', 'mottled', or something like that on the page. Just a thought. That's the point. It's not that hard to decipher pelt type in the manga. I really wish we'd use this as a rule. It's how we chose Tadpole's description, isn't it?

How to get Approval?

But what if a user wants their charart on a charcat like some users have? and this doesnt need to be answered but how do. things get approved and if i post my own charart here, can i get it approved for my own charcat. Sorry if it's confusing.

One, remember to sign your name with the four ~~~~'s, and two, those aren't official charcat things. Those show a user's personal information. You don't need to have them approved if they are going on your own user page. And for the other question, they feel that warriors should only participate in tweak week for that the idea is to tweak and help the art already made, and that warriors are more experienced and can handle tweaking.
