This is my first time doing a staff application on this wiki, so excuse me if my application is shaky. I wish to be a chatmod, not for my own gain, but because I want to help other people as much as possible when they come onto the chat. I want to make sure the chat is clean, filtered, and everybody is doing alright. I would say I'm a fairly easy person to get along with, and I enjoy being with other people. Well, be prepared for a very short essay, because im terrible at writing these =I. I've been a member of this wikia since 2013, and im currently a Warrior in PCA. Im very familiar with the chat rules, and i try to correct people who are breaking them beforehand, but i won't keep giving someone warning after warning if they continue. Im not really an experienced leader, either. Im normally very active with PCA and try to make contributional edits to the main wikia aswell, whenever i can. Normally, Im offline during the week during the morning/early afternoon due to school, but im usually on in the late afternoon/evening on weekdays, and usually in the morning/afternoon/night on weekends. I know im not very experienced with this, and i honestly think this nomination won't be successful, but its worth trying. And if it doesn't end up succeeding, that will just be another chance for me to improve on whatever it is you might believe i need to improve on. Okay, well, im going to try this again. My last nomination wasnt successful; so im going to repost this now. Well, ive been on the wikia since 2013; and im very active in the chat/and IRC. Im currently a warrior and mentor of PCA, and im very familiar with the chat rules. This wikia has become like a home to me; a place to escape. I'd love to help contribute to the site im on every day as a staff member; preferably starting as a Chat Mod. Im very active with PCA; and i try to make contributive mainspace edits by adding in more history for characters needing it whenever i have the spare time. Normally im not online in the morning/afternoon on weekdays (school); but i usually access chat from my mobile after school. Weekends im usually on in the morning/night/mid afternoon.
Who knows; if this isnt successful this time, thats just more time for me to improve on points thats stopping me from reaching my goal. ESSAY: I feel that I should be granted chat mod status on this wiki for several reasons:
I contribute to several Wiki projects, including Project World, Project Books, Project Realiy, and Project Character Art. I add to pages that might need updated info, and correct grammar mistakes on different pages. I usually stalk the Recent Wiki Activity, as well as keep a lookout for trolls and undo any revisions that are unnecessary or inappropriate. I have over a thousand edits on here, and that doesn't seem like much compared to many others, but it's a start.
I used to have my own Wiki, and still do, although it's very inactive now. I have experience with the chat mod status, and helping to make the chatroom a safe and age appropriate place. Helping out younger users is also something I've been doing recently, and this could be experienced further if people knew I was a chatmod.
I have been on the Wiki for over three years now, and yes, I've been banned a few times (but these were for minor offences, such as spoiling other people for new info about the books). But now I know the rules inside out, and am willing to devote myself to endorse them in the chatroom. The bannings that I've undergone have helped me to understand and truly realize the depth and meaning to the rules, and why they matter. I am diplomatic with other users, and feel that I can help keep the chatroom under control at times where it may seem otherwise. I am also in the chatroom whenever I get a chance to be online, which is quite frequently.

- Due to this user having asked both Icy and myself multiple times, both in public and in private, to endorse them, along other various factors, including being warned for noncontributive edits, this nomination is declined.
- There are many reasons why this nomination is declined. The main reason, however, is due to the nature of some of your edits, many of which have been made in bad faith. You appear to be trigger happy with the undo button in an attempt to gain a higher number of edits. That is not how things are done here.
- Undone edits: x, x, x, x, x, and x
- Logs: Wiki ban log and Chat ban log.
- While these are not "recent", persay, you have been told more recently about your conduct in chat, and someone who only has one strike left on their chat rights should be a lot more wary of running for chat moderator status. Also, a spoiler policy violation is an extremely major offense here.
- Added information without citations, at least once extremely recently, and made someone else go looking for the citation to back up the statement.
- Your conduct in general is also something that is extremely iffy. Asking myself at least twice to endorse you, once in main chat, and one time in private, alongside asking Icy multiple times, including on her personal Skype handle, is extremely inappropriate. I am sure that others will agree with me when I say that asking an admin to endorse you is not benefiting of someone who wants rights.
tldr; I'm sorry, but I truly do not believe that you can be endorsed in good faith at this time, due to your contributions. - So you all know me, I'm Ferk. I've been here for almost 5 years, and I was a chat mod before. I went inactive for a while, and when I rejoined, I asked for my mod rights to not be transferred to the new account (this one), so I could regain activity. My activity is a lot better now, so I'm applying for the rights again.
- I'm calm, patient, and a leader, and will take the time to teach and talk to new users and help them around the wiki. Hey all, my name's Snowdapple. I've been on the wiki about a year now (not including my hiatus). Given that, I know all of the rules and policies that should be followed on the wiki, as well as in the chatroom. I'm always on here looking for something to edit, helping out users, or in the chat. I haven't really been in the chatroom recently, but I am looking to be in there almost every day. For leadership status, I'm currently an admin on another wiki, so I know the go-to's, I'm a warrior of PCA, and I've been nominated for SW in the past. My strengths are knowing how to handle a situation calmly and collected, civilly, and how to enforce the rules. I'm also looking to help anyone who's new out in the chatroom, and if they happen to break a rule, I'll let them know. I also figure that it's technically a three strikes and you're out kind of thing, so I know how to handle that well.

Hello, I am Jaysnow. I've been on the wiki since 2013, so that's about four years. I make contributive edits generally everyday, and stop any form of vandalism when I see it. I know the rules super well at this point, after many years of experience on this wiki. I do like helping out new users, because hey. I was new once, and I didn't know about anything here. I think it's fair to help them out if they need help. Whenever I'm editing on the wiki, I'm pretty much always in chat, eager to help people who have questions on anything. My strengths are that I know the rules quite well, as well as helping new users find their place here. I used to be a part of PC, but I took a small break from the wiki and was removed. I have been very active for the years I have been here, and only taken breaks when new books come out or when I have to deal with personal things. I am pretty calm, and try to be kind to everyone. Sometimes I can be stern but I never mean it in a bad way. I am supportive and encouraging, and I have over 1,000 edits. I may not edit pages much, but I am very active in PCA and on the Discord. Hey there, I'm Jaysnow. I've been a member of Warriors Wiki for 5 and a half years now. While I have not always been on my best behavior, I feel that I currently deserve these rights.
I'm active daily on the Warriors Wiki discord, and I do have a mod role there. I am polite to other users and enjoy helping out new ones. I have a lot of edits here, and that displays the experience I have. If I were to become a chat moderator (on the Discord) I think it would be beneficial for new and old users. I know my way around, I love the people, and I love to help.

Even though I haven't been back here for very long, I have interacted with Jaysnow on Discord quite a bit. All personal things aside, I have not been impressed with Jaysnow on the wiki or the Discord. I firmly believe a Chatmod, a staff member of WWiki, should be active on both the wiki and the Discord, but Jaysnow's past 50 edits go back to June. He is determined not to contribute to any aspect of the wiki because of past personal reasons. On Discord, he is quick to enter arguments and sometimes creates a hostile environment. I wasn't around for Jay's past inquiries, so I can't judge him for anything he's done before, and I'm not going to judge him for speaking his mind on recent events since that doesn't affect this RFCM. All that aside, his edit history is what worries me greatly, as Hawkey has mentioned above. He's been mostly inactive for the past 6 months, and while I do know this is about Discord, past endorsements have involved edit history and Wiki activity when considering a chat mod. Jay's dedication to the Discord is admirable, and he can be a great help during some situations, but he he can be quick to start arguments and appears rather hostile when dealing with conflict. I've seen him handle conflict well, and I've seen him react badly to it, but patience is a virtue that is needed when dealing with a server as big as WWiki's. - If I may, Hawkey, I did specify that this is for Discord, and to deny him based upon edits on the wiki doesn't quite make sense to me. Others have been promoted with less edits (I can name three right now), so I feel denying him based upon that isn't very fair. Also, he has tried to contribute, but there is a very hostile atmosphere here right now that prevents many things from happening how they should. —Jayce(23:22, 12/23/2018)
- I do think that edit history should have a play in running for staff, as Discord moderators are considered Wiki staff. His edit count is admirable, but the fact that his last consistent editing activity was 6 months ago leaves me a bit on the fence here. - I would like to respectfully rebuttal that, like Echo just mentioned above, Discord Chatmod is still considered Wwiki staff, and they will have access to the staff channel and template and all. They should have some sort of obligation to contribute to the wiki as well. The environment right now is hostile, yes, but it hasn't always been this hostile since when he stopped editing.
