I was reading through, and one of the requirements is that nominee must understand the basics of Admin Duties and Wikicode. Do we really want a Sysop that only understands the basics of those? If so, I can see several users ready for sysoping. I feel that, as a necessity, a user must know have an advanced knowledge of both. Think of the havoc they'd reek...It would be my early days all over again ;)--Σulãlíã(Talk!–Contribs–Sign Here) 02:31, 15 July 2008 (UTC)
- Well.. really there's no way for a person who only participates on this wiki to have more than a basic knowledge of the admin duties... IE: They can read about 'em and learn that way, but they can't actually DO them until we decide to accept them as an admin... The wording can be improved, to something like... "Understand the mechanics of the Administrator Duties and be competent in Wikicode" or the like... Kitsufox Fox's Den 03:01, 15 July 2008 (UTC)
