- She is a ThunderClan kit and the daughter of Nettlesting. She, alongside her mother Nettlesting and her littermates, participate in StormClan's journey to find a new home outside of the the forest. At the start of their journey, Nettlesting catches a squirrel for her kits, though Stripestar rushes them away to keep up. By leaf-bare, she is now an apprentice named Wasppaw. She, Quailpaw and Pigeonpaw are the first named apprentices in the Clan. In the abandoned Twoleg nest, Wasppaw plays with her brother Quailpaw and nearly runs into their leaders. In newleaf, Wasppaw narrowly evades a lunging swamp creature when it attacks their temporary camp in the marsh.
