Chapter description[]

Taking advantage of the lull in the storm, Frostpaw continues for the WindClan border stream where she spots Appleshine and Woodsong observing her. Frostpaw requests to speak with Harestar and Kestrelflight about her vision of the storm causing a tree branch to fall on their nursery. However, the two WindClan warriors are skeptical and dismiss her concerns since WindClan's territory is sparse with trees. Exasperated, Frostpaw retorts that it will be their fault if their kits are killed in the storm and Appleshine and Woodsong did nothing about it, causing Appleshine to relent and fetch Kestrelflight. Once Kestrelflight arrives, Frostpaw explains about her vision. While Kestrelflight is dubious how a tree can damage WindClan, he agrees to post guards outside the nursery as a precaution. After Appleshine and Woodsong leave, Kestrelflight urges Frostpaw to seek shelter from the storm. Taking his advice, Frostpaw heads back to ShadowClan's territory, though it resumes raining and she decides to seek shelter with ThunderClan instead.
